Sherman Hills Golf Club

My group and I play Sherman hills often because it’s a great course in great shape with awesome rates. We typically travel from pinellas and it’s worth the ride. Greens are in great shape and roll well with undulating greens. Fairways and tee boxes are good too! Driving range and restaurant are both nice.cant beat the price for the quality of course. Course is pretty wide open so it is playable no matter the level of player you are. Be sure to check this course out!

What’s the most important part of the golf course? The greens, right? Well Sherman Hills gets it. Their greens are always, always, pure. They roll fast and true. They place the pins in smart locations. It’s just a great feeling to hit a nice iron shot into a green and know you’re going to be rewarded with a decent look at sinking the putt. It’s why we play this game, isn’t it?

Play this today after driving by it many times on the way to University of Florida. Ended up liking it a lot, just the right amount of straight fairways and then fairways to go left and fairways to the right and Hill to make it interesting all around. The staff in the clubhouse and on the course were awesome!

I canceled this teatime the day before and never received any credit for the torrential rain storm that came. There was no sense in going to the golf course.

This couse was as beautiful as youd expect a high end track to be. Great greens pretty fairways. Played Thursday 9/1.

Going back this Friday.

I was very impressed with the changes to Sherman Hills after not playing it in a year or so. Greens were a medium speed but full and lush, bunkers were in good shape, and the rough was rough lol.

Played at 9am and only saw a couple of other groups until we were almost finished.

Course was in great condition!! The rainy season has the course in better than normal condition.

Well maintained course, with lot's of uphill and downhill lies. The greens were well maintained. Was a pleasure to play here, pace of play was excellent, I was surprised there was hardly anyone else playing this beautiful golf course. Had to wait out a summer thunder storm, which was brief and lasted 30 minutes. Great course and my home course is planning a golf outing with our staff and friends to play here in the near future. Play here if you get the chance.

This course is a hidden gem for the summer. My friends and I like coming here during the weekdays. The course is in pretty good condition this time of the year. The staff is really nice as well. We love coming here.

Course is on great shape tee to green. Great layout and fun to try and shoot your best.

I would’ve rated it higher but the beer cart was not out on the course during the weekend.

Second time playing here. Love the layout. Course was in great shape considering the drought. Practice area is not great but wasn’t there to practice. Few greens still showed sings of distress. Staff was great even though they are understaffed and over worked. Nice bar served a really nice Cuban sandwich. Will definitely be back.

With all recent rain, the corse is looking good. On tge weekend, paced of play is challenging when beginning your round. Very limited drinking water on the course. So make sure you bring plenty of liquids, yourself 😊
