Hernando Oaks Golf & Country Club

Quickly becoming my favorite course in the area. It's a challenging layout that's always in great condition, with well-maintained tee boxes, fairways, and greens. The practice facilities are excellent, and hitting from the range tee boxes feels just like hitting from the fairways, which is a huge plus for practice. The only improvement I'd suggest is adding more target pins on the driving range to provide additional aiming points. Overall, it's an outstanding course that I highly recommend.

Conditions were excellent. Greens were punched but recovering well. Worth the trip, will be back to play.

Greens are back, excellent condition. They have a new General Manager, met him starting on the first tee , he was meeting players on Saturday morning, Gave our group bounce back coupons, seemed sincerely interested in our round, pace of play and our enjoyment. We will be back to see John and his team next weekend, place is awesome. Greens were really good. Excellent food in the grill. Great Beverage cart service, our new favorite course.

Front 9 is better shape than the back

Considering the drought, the course is in great shape. Greens have grass and not a layer of green moon dust. Back nine fairways are compacted but still have grass cover. Pace of play is agonizing - leave yourself 5 hours to play on a Sunday morning.

Enjoyed the day, haven"t played this course in a while, was happy with conditions and course challenges, lost a few balls (my fault) could have played better.

We were pleasantly surprised. Course condition is very good, greens are excellent, fairways and tees ok, considering the lack of rain. Traps were muddy from a recent shower. Pace was very good on the front, dragged on the back with a 4-some slowing all of us down.

I love this course in Florida sometimes it rains like crazy and yesterday it was dry as a bone drought number eight, the mower man turned the machine off so I could tee off, which was nice and I nailed it of course

Tee time was 2:10pm and was still rushed and had to wait every hole for 2 groups ahead and i paid 94$ plus 45$ at the grill. Course layout has always been a favorite for the area but some greens were rough but not the worst i seen lately.

Greens were smooth and fast like carpet. Top tier condition for greens. Golf layout is fun and overall enjoyable.

I love playing this course but for some reason today they had several groups of 6 on the course which drastically killed pace of play. I’ve been here several times and never had this issue. The tournament wasn’t announced so there was no explanation for this one-off. Would still come back but wish this course did better.

Like this place but they have no control over the pace. Last 2 times was there for 5 and a half hours. Big no for what they charge.

Not "Stupid" hard but you have to be careful.
