Burntisland Golf House Club

I played earlier the same morning at another course and a member recommended Burntisland. I’m really glad I took his advise. After playing 7 links courses I wanted to check out a parkland course. Burntisland is a lot of fun and a lot of steep climbs but well worth it. A few blind shots requiring bell ringing.

What a fanatic course. First visit and will definitely be back.

Warm welcome from pro and member and given pointers about some of the trickier / blind holes. Don’t always get the best welcome when using the app but couldn’t have been made to feel anymore welcome. Course in great condition and some holes that make you think about what you hit, especially when the wind showed up later in the round. Stunning views across the water on the majority of holes and really just brilliant value for the money.

We were a 3 ball. 3 ball in front of us in buggys and 2 ball in front of them never let anyone through pace of play was a disgrace like really poor which spoiled the round close to walking off at 14th. Average wait at each tee box was 10min some longer. Course is lovely and views are amazing

Brilliant course. The par 3’s are some of the best available in the area we played Saturday afternoon and took 3 hours for a 2 ball playing at a leisurely pace. Would highly recommend. The course is a quite hilly, but don’t let that put you off they have plenty of buggies

Playing this course the end of march was a pleasure. Fairways were in great condition, greens considering the time of year were playing well. Playing off mostly winter tees and only one winter green, all in all the condition of the course compared to a lot of other courses at this time of year was excellent. Would highly recommend

A great little course with some challenging, quirky holes. Played in the winter on winter greens as weather had been awful. Course was not muddy and the winter greens in good condition. Because of the position of winter greens, directions to the next tee were not always obvious, fortunately we paired up with a local who led the way. Some really lovely holes and a few blind greens as you’d expect with a James Braid design, memorable 10th par 4 and 17th par 3. The views across the Firth of Forth are stunning with views of the bridges in the distance. Highly recommend and will be back to play in the summer.

Great course, couple blind second shots which if playing here again would make you try to carry the slops of the green rather than find the middle of the greens!

Views are great with lots of down hill holes which carry longer than expected with the breeze

We where lucky enough to catch the sun at this time of yeear, the course was in superb condition for this time of year, I asked my playing partner what his thoughts where and he said up there with the best he’s ever played 10/10.

Pro shop staff and bar staff were super friendly and accommodating, highly recommend.

Another plus was by back to back 2,s on the 5th and 6th hole! 😎

Upon arrival pro had great customer service skills explained course layout and was friendly and helpful .

Course is is great condition from stripey fairways to true greens had a chat with green keeper on the 3rd you can tell they care and are passionate what they do in keeping course tip top condition. Layout has a testing variety of holes which get you thinking on club selection and distances with the 17th a great par 3 short but challenging terrific views of the firth of forth to add to the pleasure. Pace of play was good considering stuck behind 3 ball never had the chance to sample clubhouse next time for sure! was packed which tells you the grub must be good 👍
