Dunnikier Park Golf Club

About
Dunnikier Park Golf Club is an 18-hole course located in Kirkcaldy, Scotland, 30 miles north of Edinburgh and 20 miles south of St. Andrews. Formed in 1963, the golf course has evolved over the years.
Dunnikier is 6,546 yards with a par of 72. The Lomond Hills serve as a backdrop on several holes, providing a stunning view. The front nine is in secluded woodland, while the back nine gets you out into civilization.
Dunnikier Park Golf Club's signature hole is No. 7, called "The Dip," a 368-yard par 4. The fairway disappears into a dip and then rises to the green. It's not just challenging, it's the best looking hole, too. It doesn't get much easier on No. 8, named "The Deception." The 383-yard par 4 is uphill all the way. Avoid the fairway bunkers with your drive then carry over the bunkers protecting the green.
No. 9 and 12 are two of the four par 5s and the two longest holes. Nine is 547 yards. Hit just an average tee shot, and you are in good position for a second shot over the hill. Twelve is monstrous at 597 yards. If you play off the "Tiger Tee," it's a ridiculous 650-yard hole. Make sure you hit if long, though. If your drive is short, you might not even make it to the ladies tee, the hole is THAT long.
A major extension and refurbishment was carried out to the clubhouse in 2001. It was upgraded to modern standards. New locker rooms and visitor changing facilities were added. The main lounge can seat over 100 guests, and dress is casual except for Saturday nights when there is a strict dress code after 8 p.m.
Kirkcaldy is one of the largest towns in Fife and has a history of tourism. Visitors are always welcomed at the club.

play dunnikier
one of the best golf courses under the Fife Golf Trust. very good signals you never get lost, wide fairways, greens in very good condition and the paramount is beautiful. Is one of the prettiest golf courses in Fife. You will enjoy it.
Only downside...the clubhouse closes too early, so be aware on that.
Dunnikier must be played
Excellent layout, wide fairways, very well kept greens, one of the best course of the Fife trust.
The grass is coming back after so much radiation.
Remarkable value for money
Excellent course, in good condition. Greens were lovely. Play moves along well.
Staff were very welcoming and helpful.
In summary, a beautiful parkland golf course which will challenge all levels of player.
Sunny 26°c didn't detract from a good day on course.
A true find
Great little course - quite easy but in great shape
Excellent course with a good range of holes, challenging but fun.
It’s a great course I unfortunately was stuck behind a competition group who were very slow but apart from that played this course before and it’s well kept got good greens and nice layout and was only £17 on a hot deal so can’t complain too much
Really enjoyed the course
We played 8 holes one day and returned the following for a full round. Thoroughly enjoyed the course.
Dunnikier
Staff really friendly and great practice facilities. Personal preference but the amount of blind shots was mildly frustrating. Assume it will be a lovely parkland course in summer.
Very nice course , would have liked a map of the course as because of winter tees some tees were difficult to find .. the clubhouse was closed and we were looking forward to a coffee and cakes however enjoyed the day , the course is in very good condition
Great
Great course for the price, staff is very friendly. Will continue to go
A Must Play Course.
You will not find a better public course anywhere and I have played many. The value for money is incredible and what a great set up.
Course is fantastic, well manicured fairways and bunkers are great, plenty nice soft sand. Only downside
was that the greens had just been cored and they were sanding them as we were playing which was bit unfortunate. The ball just bounced all over the place but got to be done.
The highest compliment I can give this public course is that it could easily be a private course and puts many of them to shame.
A must play Course, you will not be disappointed.
Great day and the beautiful weather certainly helped.
Course worth looking at.
Excellent and challenging parkland course. Tees and fairways in great condition. Couldn't judge greens as unfortunately had only recently been cored. I have known the course off and on for years and this is the best I have seen it.
Pro Shop and clubhouse staff very friendly. Well worth a visit.
Great course
Great course, big open car park, nice little shop before you tee off, good layout and good holes
Undulating course
Played midweek on a windy and showery day. Condition was good but a little soft in places. Some long holes which played very long into the wind. Noisy at the top of the course near A92. Nice pros shop which was well stocked
Very late booking!
Never disappoints, excellent layout and well presented for a municipal course 👏
