Marshall Canyon Golf Club

Booked as a single, I met 3 cool guys 7am, had a nice pleasant round, I wish they were all like that! Lol ill be back.

Everytime I was going to hit my ball people behind me kept hitting there ball and I got hit on the side of my body when they didn’t yell anything out and it’s unfortunate because I won’t play here anymore after getting hit and it could have been worse and that fact I got hit it was not my fault because I was waiting for the 4 some in front of me to finish there shot so I can proceed so I hope this course changes how they book because too many people being dicks out there on the course and hearing four every hole I was on. No more coming here I’ll go to San dimas canyon instead.

The course and greens were good. Green were tough. The biggest problem was the pace of play it was TREBBLE and no Marshall to help speed up a pace of play. It took 6hr 45 mins to complete 18 holes. You were waiting for 10 - 15 mins for each of the holes on the back 9. Most of the groups of golf are playing from blue tees but not even that good to hit from there. We called the pro shop to help pace and never came out. Beautifull day but could not enjoy a day of.golf because it should never take 7 hrs for 18 holes of golf. Was very disappointed.

The course has been update and in great shape. However, yesterday they had sand on the greens which was not mentioned. Overall, great value and challenging course.

Course is always nice, nice scenery. Just have to be there early (6-7:30) before all the walkers or the round might turn into 5.5/6 hrs if your stuck behind multiple walking groups

Draw biased fairways that pay off if you can control your ball flight. Undulating Greens are well kept and fun and difficult enough for all levels. First time playing this course and I was impressed with course management and there was even a Marshall on course during the weekday.

This course has come a LONG way! I use to golf here weekly back in 2019 but now it’s maybe 2-3 time a year. I’m about to change that and get here at least 1-2 times a week, because the range is getting better, the clubhouse is getting better and even the course is improving. They’ve chopped down trees or they fell during the wind, they’ve improved the green quality and the cart path improving will definitely help grow the fairways even more. Every hole had improvements that made me realize this course has new management and they actually care. I wish the BBQ was fired up when we were there around 11:30-12pm but I get that it probably wasn’t busy enough. I hope it stays that way tbh because pace of play was awesome, we got to tee off 15 minutes early because there was no one out there. We finished in less than 4 hours and that’s just ideal. I’ll be back. Keep it up.

It is a great layout. The course was in good shape. Greens were clean, the fairways were in good shape. I can see the other complaints on time of play. We went out at 7:40 and it took us five hours. No Marshal, no Starter. A couple of guys were just bouncing around to various holes.

The course was in decent shape. The greens are very bumpy and spongy. It is a rare occasion that the ball is on flat land, most fairways are on some kind of slope. Pace of play was horrible, 5 and a half hours. I had 2 walkers with me and we still had to wait for the 2 groups (in carts) in front of us to hit each time we got to a tee box..There was no Starter or Marshall.

1st time playing the course layout is good. Fairways and greens well maintained. Had to wait for the group in front of us on multiple holes, I am not sure if course was overbooked or just got stuck behind a slower group. I had a good time either way

This course has long needed improvements. It's good to see that funds are being put back into the course and renovations and improvements are being made. The course still has a long way to go, but will get there if the focus towards improvements continue. PACE OF PLAY SUCKS! GET A MARSHALL TO MOVE PLAYERS ALONG!
