Well worth the green fees

This was the second time playing this course and just like the first time the condition of the course was excellent. The tee boxes were in good condition. The fairways were in good condition and the greens I would rate 7/10. The green fees went by any means expensive but definitely worth it. A little bit hilly but nothing too extreme. I will definitely be back at some point.

Hilly Start

1st 3 holes are uphill a bit of a slog as a three ball let me play through. After that the course flattens out and becomes a lot more flat very enjoyable with great views looking forward to playing again

The views are amazing, but be prepared for big climbs on the first 5 holes.

Then it levels out.

Great layout, greens were patchy, but it has been a long wet winter and it is still the middle of April.

Overall a very nice course 7.5 out of 10

Underrated Course

First 3 holes are a bit of a slog but overall an excellent course in superb conditions for early march. First time playing a heathland course and it was a great mix of links like rough and Heather with parkland fairways and undulation. Best course in the Glasgow area for me.

Excellent

Called a few clubs who were all on winter greens then called fereneze who had all main greens in play.A little soggy here and there but course stood up well to the recent weather and I thoroughly enjoyed my round.Well worth the money and a bonus to play big greens when most clubs are on winter and some closed altogether will be back this was on Monday 24th Nov

Fantastic course in great condition very hilly so buggy is a must.Stuck behind a 4 ball who despite many opportunities just wouldn't wave me through and I was a single which made it a pretty long round but I would certainly return

Fereneze an absolute gem!

Play the course a few times a year. Currently the course is in superb condition. Greens were amazing. Love that every hole is so different and how the wind changes the course each time you play it. Cannot forget to mention the amazing views! Clubhouse is excellent and staff have always been very welcoming.

Bothwell bill

A tough course with a good variety of holes. As a member of 3 golf clubs and having played a total of 138 courses in Scotland I have never seen such expansive and far reaching views from a golf course.

The greens and course were good and the clubhouse staff and internal decor were also impressive .

Very challenging but worth the effort.
