Rourken Glen GC

Good course, well maintained and cared for. Very Steep in places which is not ideal for me. If I have any complaint it is there are no benches to take a breather which would be nice.

Good value for money

I've played it a couple of times now and it's a good basic course and it is quite hilly.

I shot my best round of 86, which I was chuffed with being a high handicapper.

The course is part owned by the David Lloyd next door and is pretty well maintained. There is just a small starters cabin and no pro shop, but you can hire a trolley and get bottles of juice etc and the girl was pleasant and helpful.

Faeeays and greens are decent though I have lost a few balls among the rough due to tree foliage and small white flowers that line the fareway, but that is probably just down to my bad golf.

I played with 2 others and let a single player play through, but pace was fine otherwise.

Although the course isn't going to set the golf world on fire it is excellent value for money. I paid 16.99 per player.

Terrible

At least 7 greens unplayable due to holding rain after a shower. Absolute joke, players walking off after 8 holes.

Great wee course

Great wee course and fantastic value for money, Great course if you like short holes and course was in fantastic condition 👍Only issue we had was we hadn’t played course before and it wasn’t easy to find some of the next hole tees as they aren’t numbered on tee.
