Amazing Course!!! Very challenging front 9.... Back 9 is a little eaiser... Its a course with alot of slopes feet will almost never be even this aint no Potato Field like we have back in North America... Totally worth playing if we had more time would have played here twice... But the best part about the golf course is the Members... Very welcoming to Visitors and alway ready to make you feel like your at home... Stefen the Local Pro is awesome... After our round he asked us to stay and try the food and drink so glad we did... Hey don't take my word go online and do the course Pro tips and play hole for hole be4 you go i garuntee its the first and maybe the only place you will book... P.S To my Fav 4 members... Pat, Frida, Theresa and Joan no i didn't win.... Did make back alittle of my Vaca $$.... Best Golf Experience ive had since the bestball at Lanaudiere !!!!!

Great variety of holes and greens in great condition. Would definitely return. Late tee time so never used off course amenities, hence no stars

Excellent layout. Some great holes especially the oar 3’s at 7 & 8. The greens were in excellent condition.

My only negative feedback is the fairways were ok. Bare and patchy in small parts But overall excellent. Greens were excellent. And good value for money on Golf Now for £37.50 whereas it’s normally £60.

Best parkland course I’ve played. Fairways as firm as a links course. Members friendly and showed the way to the 11th. (Need to come down the fairway you’ve just played. Only gripe was a next tee sign needed imo) Honestly thinking of getting a membership here. Would highly recommend. 5 stars.

Good conditions, single golfer, unfortunately a medal tournament meant slow play in the second half. A group of 4 men caught up at the 14th tee & I explained the queue ahead. This did not stop them trying to hit me on the 15th fairway. One ball missed by less than a foot the other missed by 40 yards..I felt that they were trying to hit me so abandoned the game early for my own safety.

Booked this at the last minute. The course was a great shape. After watching the best player in our group suffer, it gets an A plus from me lol.

Course was in excellent condition.

Some very interesting hole layouts, very challenging greens.

Played 4 ball Sunday 5th May. Fantastic course in fantastic condition. Greens perfect.

I thoroughly enjoyed cathcart castle golf...the different experiences @ each hole where just what was needed, especially early in the season, the par 3 where all different, not exactly easy. and the four and five pars,,, well laid out, and just so easy , and straight forward to find.

the course was busy, as it was a bank holiday, so a bit of a que going on.. so that added time, which meant we could ponder on how each hole was best palyed,..

overall a lovely course, with some tricky holes,, but great fun, would go again definitely.

Arrived at the course in plenty time, no parking spaces left in car park, checked into pro shop, was asked if I had played the course before, explained no it was my first time, is there anything I should know? Pro said no other than it was wet last night watch your footing in the hills, fair enough. He did fail to mention the two greens that were off in the front 9 for maintenance work. Not even a proper mown down temp green just a flag plonked in the grass. See photo. Course signage could be cleared round about the 3rd and 10th green to 11th tee. Few hold ups on tee boxes waiting for people to clear different parts of the other holes very congested round about 6th tee with a green on your left and right and people playing approaches. Group of 4 youths seemed to “jump in” round about 12th hole which caused 3 group hold up, they didn’t seem to care about any etiquette of cutting in and now having two groups waiting on the tee box.

Overall would not rush back to play.

Course conditions fantastic.. Clubhouse staff and pro shop very friendly. A number of elevated tees and greens where challenging and was great value for money.

Course condition was excellent, greens best I've played all year , good mixture of holes ,course very quirky with 5 par 3s , excellent value for money ,will definitely return soon
