New greens are quite decent, and consistent. Not

Really much break on any greens here, but again fixing them was a right first move. Variable fairway grass, lots of weed and clover but green and playable. Tee boxes not in the best shape. No rakes in ‘bunkers’ so they’re really waste areas with dense, dark I guess ‘sand’, but my few sand shots came out well enough. The ‘pro shop’, parking, signage etc. in need of significant upgrades. But hey, for $20, a reasonable play. Decent mix of holes, 3000 yds from the whites. I’ll play it again.

The owners are doing a good job of getting the course back in good working order. I am asking them nicely to drain the water and so I can retrieve my balls.

I really want to keep this a secret, because this course has made an amazing turn around. The greens are in great shape, fairways are trim and playable, and tee boxes aren't great but what the heck, they are tee boxes. This course is as good as any public course in the area and has become better then some. It's not perfect but compared to what it was, which was somewhat unplayable, I am thrilled to see the comeback. I hope the new owners continue the improvements, but regardless our 4 some will be back frequently.

The greens were fast and in good condition. Both the tees and fairways were a assortment of grass and weeds however they were well cut. There were several tees in poor condition. I would play again with out hesitation.

With the smaller new greens it is a fair challenge for all golfers. Greens are good rolled well and approach shots could stay on greens.

Much improved! I took this course off my favorite list. First time playing in 4 years because of deteriorating conditions. It’s a great layout. Getting the improvements it needs. They are going to overhaul all the bunkers. Some tee boxes need a little help but overall good conditions! I put this course back on my favorites list.

The greens were great - way better than expected for the price. Greens ran true but and fast - could l hold a high shot. Fairways were also in great shape. Tee boxes in some instances need some work. Overall great value for money.

So much improvement!! Greens are in fact green. Fairways are being maintained. This course has come a long way this year!!

Haven’t played here in over 1-1/2 years because conditions were so bad.

Now

New cups and flag sticks

Greens very good condition including putting greens , no bare spots,

brown spots , weeds or crab grass

and nicely cut to

around 9

Fairways covered in grass

Rough no longer GUR

Sand traps could use some work

Tee boxes need some work

There are few amenities at this time maybe a few packaged snacks , drinks and some balls for sale .

Driving range in great condition with newish range balls (for sale . )

On course bathrooms need work but clubhouse ones are nicely kept and clean .

Haven’t played here since June and rehab work was well under way. What a pleasant surprise to see the majority of work completed and the course in great shape. So much improvement of the greens that you won’t believe it until you’ve seen it with your own eyes. A few tee boxes still need attention but a complete turnaround for this course

Pelican Bay is under new management and they have done a great job and are working very hard to improve the course conditions. The greens are in very good shape and the fairways are very playable. I played here two years ago and it was in horrific condition but now I will be playing here more often. Great value for the money.

We were looking for an inexpensive place to play while on a short stay-cation in Daytona Beach Shores. We used a coupon and points so it was really cheap for 2 to play. Reviews weren't great but we were pleasantly surprised at how nice the course was. They did say the greens had recently been redone and it showed. Fairways (when we hit them!) were in nice condition and overall we were very pleased. We were also seemed to be the only ones on the entire course. Never saw another group! Only complaint is the hole placement flags were NEVER correct.

The greens had been rolled and cut shorter for the weekend which made the greens much faster than the last time we played. The fairway grass was a little long, which made it a little harder to find your ball. The sand traps needed a little trimming, but and the tee boxes need an and the tea boxes need a little work, but other than that the course was really good.
