Course a good challenge for a 20 handicapper.

More like a links course not many trees. Enjoyed its challenging tee off over some roads going through the course only one big problem the course layout is confusing to find the next tee especially on 6 to 7 , 9 to 10and 15 to 16 .was confusing for my first time there could to with better signage on these holes. Round took me at least another 20 mins trying to find the tees .

Well layed out , bit dry in places down to weather, greens very good , green staff deserve a pat on the back, bargain at £ 37, will be back

First time playing Hollywell for a couple of years, it’s always been an interesting and decent course. Now however the Course is in terrible condition. Fairways burnt out which was completely expected but greens were in terrible condition. Hard to tell where the green ended and fringe started.

The putting green was a joke and had the nerve to have a sign saying no chipping.

Pace of play was horrendous, booked on golf now and could see 4 available tee times immediately before my tee time but on arrival I was told there was a society out of 6 4 balls.

Played 7 holes and give up. A shame as it’s a course I always enjoyed for a change but will not be returning.

If you don't mind sheep and are looking for a cheap round on a quirky course this is for you.

Very unique and in excellent condition.

Greens are a touch slow and uneven but not enough to take away from a really enjoyable course.

Will be back many times I’m sure

Completely different to many of the other courses I’ve played in the area. A real heathland course, nice and open but still challenging.

Really enjoyed playing here. Tricky in the wind, but all added to the day. Would recommend, and will be back

A great an unique course that always a treat to play, an given the conditions/closure of other courses Holywell was is superb Nic

Good winter course our local was shut but Holywell was open and easily playable. Greens were in good condition and Ts good considering the weather conditions.

The best friendly atmosphere I have ever encountered, the course had help up to nearly six weeks of continuous rain and only had to resort to temporary greens on 3 holes ,a credit to all associated with the upkeep of the club .

Excellent value for money- I really enjoyed the experience but on occasion became disoriented as the layout was a little confusing- the worst culprit for me was navigating between 16 and 17. A few extra little signs would help people like me with awful map reading skills! . Otherwise a great quirky course, driving over a main road is definitely a first! Will definitely return

Wonderful quirky golf course. Very friendly staff talked me through the course before starting. Some interesting holes especially on the back 9. Very enjoyable but a challenge in the windy conditions. Main thing is to mind the sheep that wander freely round the course!

Warm welcome, firm and fast and really interesting lay out particularly the back nine.

Love it here you should go and have a great day at a very reasonable price.

Enjoyed the course when I played, good layout with many interesting holes. I found the small greens very firm and difficult to hold due to the dry weather, the fairways were in good order and would reccomend anyone to play and a very fair price.

Described and unique and quirky and it was just that.

Sheep and sheep dung par for the course but some great holes that provide a real test.

Really enjoyed and the course layout that was in good condition.
