Beautiful course with exceptional classic feeling layout. It's hilly and tough, if it's dry be careful with sloped greens the ball will come straight off the green. Tough but beautiful course with some amazing downhill holes.

Beautiful course with some unbelievable holes. Conditions were very wet but thats to be expected this time of year. Greens were some of the best I've played on in a long time. Unfortunately 6 hours to play 18 holes is not what we expected, we took our tee shot on the 8th and when we came over the hill 2 groups were dropping balls on the fairway to start playing from there. We went from having nobody infront of us to having 5 or 6 teams just jump in and play infront of us. From the 8th on we found ourselves standing on each tee box for several minutes on each hole.

My favourite course to play. Physically tough but so worth it. The greens etc. are a credit to the greenkeepers.

If you prefer your greens ironed, on sides of hills and pin placements for pros then this is your course.

Fantastic course in great condition at this time of year

I played this course last week with my friend and all we can say is …it was amazing from start to finish the course and greens are unbelievable at the moment hats off to the workers they have the course in super conditions …and very cheap so I’d highly recommend it to others 5*

Very nice and challenging layout with lots of elevation changes. Fairways in good condition, greens look great but slow. Bunkers need sand and manicurist badly. Layout of course would have been nice on scorecard, especially if you don't know the course, No driving range, small putting area, would love to see some money invested to make it appealing and landscaped. Nice course, worth the money, just don't expect Augusta or its poorer cousin.

Played many times. It can get wet especially in the winter on the newer holes. Sadly the rains and a recent deluge meant much of the new holes were too wet to enjoy. Greens were still very good. I’d bought 3 friends to play and the experience will make it tough to get them to go again. Members and staff always friendly.

Great course the greens were in pristine condition even after all the rain we had over the few days beforehand.

I do like playing here, however it is hard work as you are walking up and down the side of a hill and unless you use a cart it’ll be tough,

The greens this time round where ironed to an inch of their lives, unplayable. If fact all was missing was a windmill and clown face, crazy golf. .

Played castlecomer course for the first time as I was in kilkenny with friends, it was great value for money(€22) for early tee off time, firstly the course is stunning, it's a very playable course and forgiving for high handicap players like myself, had my best score at this course so far, I would absolutely recommend this course for anyone.

Nice course in the Kilkenny area. Well worth the money. Course superintendent very nice and helpful in explaining course setup. If you walk it is very hilly and will tax you physically. Would love to play it again on our next trip.
