Heron Creek Golf and Country Club - Creek/Oaks Course

The guard at the gate was friendly, the bag drop was efficient. The pro shop is well stocked & personnel were polite and welcoming. The starters were prompt & marshaled the course frequently. Enough can't be said for the condition of the courses, tees, fairways & greens, all are lush!!! I think the practice facilities are the best in the area.

The course is normally in great condition. Today was no exception. Glad it’s May and the rate dropped a little bit so us full time Floridians can play!

Nice layout. Some tee boxes overgrown. Greens slower then usual. Still recommend playing this coarse.. pace of play extremely slow today. Ranger did finally speed group ahead up some.. Over 4 1/2 hours 😢. Usually not that slow.

Great day at Heron Creek. Course was in great shape especially given the drought. Fairways and greens in good condition. Staff was friendly and helped speed up the group ahead of us. Only complaint (and nothing to do with Heron Creek) was on the back 9, some idiot ahead of us was eating sunflower seeds and leaving the husks on the green. I’ve heard this was a “thing” but never encountered it until today. Hopefully they can triangulate on him and ban him.

I thought the course was in very good shape, and the pricing wasn’t bad. The greens are faster than I’m used to this time of year coming from the north, and they definitely have some tricky greens. I will definitely be back there.

I played the Creek then Oaks. Course was in great condition, even with drought. Best course I played during the week. Very challenging but fair. We had to wait on our shots alot BUT that was the ONLY negative about the course. The 4some in front of us played slowly due to their age. I understood since that will be me (hopefully) in 25 years. You definitely can't walk the course. Lots of distance between holes. But I loved it! Can't wait to come back next year & play it again.

We played Heron Creek golf course many times and never disappointed. We highly recommend Heron Creek . The staff here is so friendly.

Shame on you Heron Creek for charging $150 when the course conditions do not dictate it. 7/9 greens on the marsh side are terrible. Sand all over them. I'm not sure if that's the southern version of aerating but that's just pathetic that you're trying to have us put through greens that have sand. And I'm not talking about the sand that is been pushed into the greens this is sand like from the beach. You should at least have a disclaimer before we make teetimes alerting us to the fact that the greens are basically trashed.

Lots of tee boxes to choose your challenge. Course is in pretty good condition. Greens are receptive but vary in speed. Mostly good greens. Nice clubhouse. I’ll be back.

Greens and fairways were both in terrible condition. Shocked and disappointed as Heron Creek is one of favorites.and brought two guests to play it. It is not worth the money that price in the condition it is at this time.

I was very impressed with the whole layout of Heron Creek. The course was in great shape, the weather was perfect and we were paired with a couple of nice guys. Perfect day of golf!

Very professional, attentive staff start to finish. We played Marsh and Creek nines, course in beautiful shape, greens were ideal. Only suggestion is to have more yardage markers in the fairways. Many sprinkler heads were devoid of yardage indications, had to do some guessing.
