Heron Creek Golf and Country Club - Marsh/Creek Course

G'REAT course - terrific layouts (3 X 9 for 27 holes. Can be as difficult as you want, but even from the front tees there is nothing easy on these holes. A blast to play regardless of your skill level.

Staff is outstanding. Just a very, very good all around golf experience - from the entrance to the practice greens to the driving range and chipping practice. Then the course itself is beautiful and superb conditions. If you get a chance, this is one of the best of the best in SWF.

One of, if not the nicest courses in North Port and surrounding area to play. If you haven’t played it yet it should definitely be on your list.

Yesterday was the 3rd time my wife and I golfed Heron Creek. In all 3 rounds our experience was absolutely wonderful! The course is beautifully landscaped at every hole and the cart paths are also beautifully designed- a pleasant ride between holes. I have never golfed at a course where every tee box was in perfect condition. It’s actually hard to find a divot at any of them!

In our 3 rounds, we were able to golf all 3 courses at Heron Creek and each of them offers challenging layouts with beautiful views. The staff are amazing and we’re still talking about our experiences there. My last comment here is to put Heron Creek on your golf bucket list!

Course conditions excellent, greens fast and challenging.

Three 9 hole courses all impressive layouts.

One hole needs a bell, could not see the group in front of us.

Don’t like if you have an early tee off time, you have to wait for the back nine to clear all groups before you can continue.

This was my first time booking a tee time at Heron Creek and was surprised at the condition of the course and friendliness of the staff. I highly recommend this course.

Except for a few greens the course was in excellent shape.

I play Heron Creek often. The course is always well maintained, the pace actively monitored by rangers, the beverage cart visits frequently, etc.

But the real draw is the people. On this occasion, I mistakenly purchased a hot deal for Saturday, but came to play on Friday. The staff quickly adjusted and paired me with a twosome. Terrific save on their part.

Another plus is that I’ve always met nice folks in my playing groups. This round with two young, Christian men was a complete joy. As I said, seriously friendly at Heron Creek!
