Fleming Island Golf Club

Fleming Island is in great condition now, and from check in at the pro shop through walking out of the grill post-round, it was another terrific experience. The greens are running relatively fast and true. The fairways and tee boxes are well manicured. The staff was professional. My only critique would be that the pace of play was a bit slow.

I'm not always their biggest fan, because of course conditions. But this year, everything is in good shape. Tees, fairways, rough and greens. All in good shape. Turf density nice and thick. Im well pleased. I'll certainly play it more often.

Was in the area for business and found this gem with some quick research. I got a tee time after 4pm, the value was crazy. I only paid 50 dollars. Conditions were perfect even in their drought. Pace of play was lightening quick. The entire staff was very friendly. They had nice facilities too. I’m an 8 handicap and the course was challenging but super fair. Highly recommend to anyone and I’m looking forward to coming back.

Course is in great shape coming off of 2 days of big rain we had some balls plug up at various spots which was expected but the greens and the fairways were excellent. Pace was perfect.

Course was in very good condition. Overnight rain had some soft conditions. Greens were very good . 4 hour pace .

I was pleasantly surprised by the conditions. We all know it’s dry but you couldn’t tell at Fleming island. Course layout was difficult for a 20 handicap from whites. I enjoyed the challenge. Well done.

Excellent course love playing here. I was surprised when I got to the 12 hole. There were four groups on that hole three on the tee box one in a fairway. First time I was there and Marshall didn't enforce pace of play. Please don't be like the other courses, always and backed up, and this was on a weekday should be backed up on a weekday.

Always a great course to play and in good condition

Corse was in good condition, greens were really good. Pace of play was really slow, group in front of us were playing from tips , and weren't pro by no means. Group behind us had no patients due to this , most of the time we were on the green and thier balls were bouncing just off the green, they got the picture when we got to the back nine , we pulled up to 10 and the group were just seeing off , so the group behind us backed off a bit , otherwise good day golfing , and no we didn't say anything to them , why bother

As a first timer playing this course I was thrilled with the condition of the tee boxes and fairways. The greens are in superb condition and rolled true. For the price, you cant beat this course. I will be definitely going back, highly recommend.

The course is delightful and in great shape and on a Thursday, was not overcrowded. Lots of wild life for extra entertainment.

Overall a good experience at Fleming Island.

Nice layout and good condition considering the drought

Golf now and the course ended up double booking my tee time. Was told 2 different reasons as why we were moved to a different tee time, which was 30 minutes after the tee time I reserved. On top of that it was completely backed up and the pace of play was terrible. 5 hour round on top of the moved tee time. Unacceptable!

I do like the layout and the greens were in good shape. Tee boxes need some love. Most were dirt.

Finally, of course that didn't take five hours to play during the week. The greens were fast. The fairways was nice if I had one complaint, it would be the tee boxes need a little work not all of them, but some of them also good discount for veterans hadn't played this course in a long time, but I will be playing it more often. Now that I know how nice it is.

Greens were smooth and full, Fairways were beautiful and green. Honestly in great shape!
