AWFUL.
Day before Christmas, blue skies, 74 degrees..so,of course it's busy...no problem.
But...pace of play, attitude of the Marshall, ( who we saw all of one times ), interest level of the pro shop....AWFUL....jyst didn't care, lied to us about sending the Marshall back out, all that stuff....
So after 3 hrs 48 mins, we had finished 12 holes, and we're standing on 13 tee with 3 other groups....so we left.
Not good enough.
Etiquette
Golfers there are rude and entitled the pace of play is absolutely terrible
Greens need to be cut they just don’t roll true.. rough is to thick in areas. And you should be able to hit balls off the grass and not mats on the weekends for the price.
Great course, Greens eh
I’ve seen a lot of bad reviews on this course and they really aren’t accurate. The course is in great shape as a whole. Even the greens are fantastic looking. They are just extremely slow, maybe a 7 speed wise. But the course does make up for it by having nice amenities and a nice course. The practice green is exact to the regular ones so just get used to it there before taking it on.
Nice Course - need faster greens
This course has improved significantly over the past 2-3 years. Fairways in great shape, reworked bunkers, greens generally in much better shape. Although the greens were better, they were much, much too slow.
Very bad
I hated this golf course with my whole heart. It’s actually not a bad course. It was just a bad day for me every shot. He was in the water. Don’t come out there. If you’re a right hook player experience zero out of 10 golf course is pretty though I’ll admit it I saw bunny
Getting there
The course is definitely better but the grass is long everywhere. The greens especially which made them the slowest greens I’ve seen in a while. They need to cut and roll both the greens and the tee boxes.
The course was in great condition considering all the rain we’ve had. My only complaint is that the greens appeared to have been over seeded and we were told that the greens do not get rolled which made for putts that abruptly stopped and did not roll out and made for some bouncy putts. It would be nice to know these things before booking the tee time. No course tells you when they punch the greens, over seed or sand the greens. I guess it’s because it would drive a lot patrons to find other places. It’s very upsetting to pay $90 or more then not have the course in perfect condition and not finding out until you tee off. At that point no refund would be offered. If courses aren’t going to put this information on the website for people to know at least reduce the cost to make up for course condition.
Nice Track- greens are glacial.
Overall course conditions were good except the greens were SUPER long and slow. Very nice layout. Restaurant is closed on Monday’s, so I can’t rate it.
Nice layout but awful greens
My buddy I booked a tee time at 7am to beat the heat. It was $100 per person which isn’t bad for the price if the course was in great condition which it wasn’t the greens were like bunkers sand on every single one of them and rolling about a 4 which is awful in my opinion. You can’t even put on greens like that because you have to hit the ball so hard that it doesn’t even stay on line. We loved the layout but the greens turned us away. We will not be playing there again. We will pay the same price and go across the street to South Hampton which greens in better condition. If they fixed.the greens it would be better. I understand if they just punched them but at least let people know before hand and lower your prices.
Greens aerified but was not told
Was disappointed to find that the greens had been aerified recently but was not made aware of this prior to booking or at the clubhouse before teeing off. The remainder of the course was in great shape. Great selection of drinks and food at the clubhouse afterward. If not for the greens and poor communication about their condition this would have been a higher review.
