Magnolia Point Golf & Country Club

Fun course with a lot of different hole shapes and designs. However the fairways are a little tight, and there is no rough! If you miss the fairway you are sitting in hard pan dirt and it’s very tough to get out of. Overall fun course if you can hit it accurately but if you aren’t in the fairway it’s pretty tough. Greens are in great shape, but I’d love to see the rough taken care of a little bit more.

HOT DEALS are always a great value. Course is always in great shape and fun to play. Staff is always courteous and helpful. Always try to play a round when I am in this region.

I caught the hot 🔥 deal for $26. The course was worth that. The condition of the course through 7 holes was poor. But the greens throughout were good-excellent. Around the 8th hole conditions got a whole lot better (not pristine). And around the 8th hole, the rain that was light and off and on, started coming down harder. The course got really swampy. I tried to wait out a downpour on hole 13, but it wouldn't stop. Course conditions became unplayable. I finally gave up and headed to the clubhouse to seek cover. This was my 1st time playing Magnolia Pointe. I really liked the layout. And if they could get the front 9 conditions to match the back 9, this would be an excellent course. But as is, I'd be hard pressed to pay more than $30-35 to play it. I'd definitely want to play it sometime when it's dry. Someday I look forward to catching the hot 🔥 deal again and giving it another shot. 👍😊

The golf staff was excellent and able to answer questions thus knowledgeable of the course. Marshals did their job keeping the pace moving along. The front 9 is a bit easier to play, but the back 9 is pretty difficult if you aren't an experienced golfer. Nearly all holes have water hazards and high grass for the rough. Found more lost golf balls than other places. The greens are in REALLY rough space on several holes. For a weekend enjoyment, it's a decent course but nothing to write home about. Plenty of parking, but the cart return is very confusing and not well marked.

Perfect day, met new people that we played together. Course in good condition overall, few greens with bad spots but nothing too bad… love playing here and I need to do it more often.

The conditions of the course were terrible! All of the greens and most of the tee boxes are in very poor condition. Not worth playing.

While the layout is good, wet conditions prevent play on much of the course. Many holes can be closed and they don't put out signs to indicate them.

Magnolia Point is a great layout and great course. UNFORTUNATELY, it is almost unplayable now. I receive emails from them and they sent me a few saying the greens were in great shape after their last aeration. I should’ve known when they dropped the price to $40. The greens were a disaster, the course wasn’t mowed., the tee boxes were a wreck from animal damage. They have taken a once beautiful course and let it fall apart.

So the ranger comes around and gives us some buy one get one free drink passes. We decided to go have lunch after the round. We ordered drinks but were limited to draft beers or well brand liquors. The bartender brought us menus but never came back to take our food order for at least 30 min even though there was only 6 or 7 other people in the bar. We gave up on eating.

If the course would’ve been honest in their emails I wouldn’t have been so mad but I told my crew it was in great shape only to show up and find this mess. And it’s a long way to go to play in that disaster.

I won’t be playing there anytime again soon

First time playing at this course and it was a let down. First three holes, the greens are so beat up it almost made me get in my car and go home. This course needs a complete makeover and is not worth the 45 dollar round. I'd suggest going somewhere else until the conditions get better...

The course was outstanding and in great shape. U fortunately it took almost 5 hours to get around. The group three ahead of us was painfully slow putting three groups on a hole at the same time just waiting for them to finish

Offers some elevation changes and course conditions are highly improved. Only negative was that greens are a bit bumpy and slow. They are working on improving the green constantly and are making great progress.
