Plenty of water, just not going on the fairways. Most bunkers were very muddy. Several had standing water in them at noon on a day when it was 86 degrees. Photo submitted by danstone360 on 07/25/2015

Teeboxes were a joke in nearly all cases. Photo submitted by danstone360 on 07/25/2015

Fairways were awful. Not because of the drought. This course has reclaimed water and it was very muddy in many places. Seems like their grounds crew is off for 2015. Photo submitted by danstone360 on 07/25/2015

Golfer Reviews
Greens In Need Of Work
While it does look like greens get occasional watering as they look green, not one of the ball marks seemingly never get repaired. employees are seen riding in maintenance vehicles, but they never get out of them to fix holes all over the greens.
Sand traps have little sand in them so we played them as "ground under repair" locations. Too bad as course does have potential
Drying out
I play the course regularly and it needs attention in certain areas. It is playable but the greens need punching and parts of the course is either flooded or dead. I found 2 greenside bunkers that had zero sand and actually putted out to save my club. However, the majority of the course is very playable.
Great day
Staff was exceptional, pace of place was very decent. Great time out without the masses
Great layout poor upkeep
This course has a great layout and is very fun. That said some of the tee boxes are just sand, most of the tee boxes have more waves in them than the ocean, some of the greens have large dirt patches, they have 3 different golf carts that are more of cruisers than actual golf carts.
You can tell very little money is put into the upkeep. I still play here because it’s cheap but I wouldn’t bring a friend here.
Poor maintenance
The fairways were long, The tea box were rough, the greens were poorly maintained. No sand in the bunkers.. I like the layout. But won’t play the course again and not recommend anybody to play there.
Don’t waste your time
The course is horribly maintained. The pace of play was very slow. After 2.5 hours we were able to play 7 holes and decided to just give up on the day.
Mud in Summer?
I have been playing this course for the better part of 10 years and my Round was filled with mud. I realize there’s extra watering involved, but there’s mud on the green mud in the bunkers and got sprayed by mud on several shots. However, there was either mud or extremely dry hard pan. I really don’t know how to summarize the condition of the course at this time.
No Level Grond Anywhere!
When I finished my 18 holes and came home, I was sore everywhere. There was no level ground on any tee boxes, fairways, nor greens.
It took another half day for my body to recover from all the jostles, bumps, and unexpected wheel impacts during this round.
This course plays like a new, recently designed course that had a forgetful landscaper.
Good Value, needs facility upgrade
This course is a good value overall. They need some upgrades to the facilities: the clubhouse, restrooms, out buildings and the course infrastructure.
Good course
Needs more improvements on fairways. Greens were good and fast
Greens Show No Divot Repairing On All 18
The weather was perfect, however while the greens were green, there was no attempt to repair the divot marks on any of the 18 greens.
It was discouraging to have to try putting over dried brown holes and expect them to roll true to the cup.
Potential
Course is fun just needs to be shown some love, pro shop workers are nice, but things like dirt bunkers, and muddy fairways at times just gets frustrating
Glad to see the Gold Tees Are Back Again
Due to a family rare occasion get-together on Sunday, I called and the staff at the course honored my Gold Pass coupon for Monday at noon from yesterday's registration. It turned out to be fortunate as the weather was iffy for rain all day. Maybe due to the weather conditions, I was alone in my golf cart with no one less that three holes in front of me nor behind me all day. I took my time and occasionally hit a second shot after missing one.
Nice track neglected
Haven't played in a while since conditions last time were very bad. Got a good deal, decided to give it another chance.
On positive side the greens are very good and there is enough green to roll ball to on fairways. Tee boxes mostly reasonable.
Otherwise, bunkers are unplayable, fairways some places too wet some too dry. Ground squirrels have taken over. General conditions of the entire complex going down hill.
We played winter rules, rolled ball, raked bunkers and placed ball.
It too bad this place is being neglected, its a very good track, wish it could be brought back to its hey day.
