The course is really nice for the price. Well not just for the price it’s nice. Beautiful course heck I got engaged on this course!

I wish I took pics but if you think you’re getting some decent playing conditions, think again. This is quite honestly prob worst conditions course in north Florida. Terrible greens, terrible fairways, and terrible tee boxes. That being said. Staff and layout are the redeeming factors. But if you think this is great value course I don’t know where you are normally playing.

This is my 2nd time playing the course. It's maintained as well as any other public course in Jacksonville area. The white tees play plenty long for and older guy like me, and there's opportunity to use every club in your bag. Pro shop attendant was friendly, food is pretty good, cars are maintained well. It seems the greens have improved since I played 3 months ago. For the money, it's a really good outing.

The course was in great shape overall. The greens were beautiful and rolled true, and the fairways and tee boxes were all well maintained. The only downside was the pace of play and overall organization. It was a very busy day, and having someone out on the course directing traffic and keeping groups moving would have made a big difference. Despite that, it’s a really nice course, and I’d definitely play it again for the quality of the conditions alone.

Good value for the money. Good layout. Fairways and greens in good shape. Rough is rough but not supposed to be friendly. Tee boxes could use some work

Tee boxes, fairways and greens all in terrible conditions. Royal St Augustine at its worst is way bettter than Palatka. I don’t know how this course gets 4 star rating. It is barely 2 stars currently. Maybe it’s just the time of year but condition is terrible everywhere. Course has interesting layout and had only 2 or 3 holes where water comes into play.

Friendly people, nice clubhouse, decent layout, terrible condition. Fairways either gone or sketchy. It could be a good course if they get it in shape.

The course is suffering from lack of water through no fault of the course. Due to conditions, we are all in a water ban and the course shows it. If Mother Nature cooperates, the course should green up and fill in once we can irrigate again.

Great weather day for golf. The fairways were ion good condition, some greens and tees were ok and some weren't. Overall, a good deal and course to play.

Nice course for the value this time of year. Fairways were in good shape. Tee boxes were good. Some thin spots in some rough, but not bad. Some greens had some spots that haven't fully grown back in yet, but rolled pretty true.
