Twin Isles Country Club

This is one of many courses in the area I have played over the last several years. Not having played it for several months, I was told when I checked in at the Pro Shop that a lot of work was done on the greens and fairways, and I should see the improvements. I thought the course was already in pretty good shape, but I must say, the greens have never been better. And the fairways had much better grass, also. All staff members are still as friendly and helpful as ever. It is definitely worth the 40 minute drive for me. To the staff: Great job on the course improvements.

The greens are in excellent shape. The Bermuda rough makes missed fairways impossible to find the ball.

The course is suffering from the county water restrictions, hopefully the restriction will be lifted soon.

We played 18 holes in 3:45 hours .

Will play it again.

Played this course for the first time recently. Obtaining a cart was confusing. Once we had the cart, the starter was helpful in guiding us on where to go and access to the amenities. The course has many doglegs and sand bunkers to deal with and the fairways are long. Anticipate at least 4 hours to play a complete 18 hole round. The fairways were in reasonable condition with some bare spots; tee boxes were fine; greens had just been aerated and quite sandy.

The Proshop is clean and attendant was friendly and courteous. After our round, we enjoyed cocktails in the restaurant. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Prices are reasonable.

I would recommend as a challenging yet not complicated course - would suggest that beginners avoid as might not be able to keep up to pace of play

Having played this course more times than i can count, 70 is way way too much for offseason. The condition of the fairways makes this price too much for in season. Can’t justify paying 70 for this course. It’s very close to my house and is convenient but can’t play here until they adjust the price significantly

Tee boxes in great shape. Fairways were in good condition. Greens were great condition.

Pace of play was good, but fairways need work. Greens were very good.

Fairways in bad condition. Greens ok but very slow. Sand traps more like washed out gravel.

Great course good staff great layout good amenities

This golf course is the worst I’ve ever played on. Hands down. I’d rather play on a better course for $40 less. The staff was incredibly rude, except for the cart man, who was a sweet old man. The golf carts were in terrible condition and seemed like they were about to break down. To make matters worse, I was put behind a group of four walkers who took an agonizing 40 minutes to complete a single hole. I did some research and it seems like the course was recently sold to new investors. It’s a shame because I remember this course being a 10/10 a year ago.
