Terrible greens and amenities
Unfortunately, this is a poor review. I play the diamond bar golf course on a regular basis and have noticed that the condition of the greens has gotten worse and worse by the week. They are in terrible shape with divots, missing grass, and a possible fungus growing on them. I have patiently been playing with hopes that it gets better but instead, they’ve gotten worse. I was also disappointed to see that the coffee shop and range were closed on a holiday. The staff was very friendly in the pro shop and the cart girl was also very nice. The rest of the course was in pretty good condition, considering a heavy rain we had the day prior. This is no excuse for the greens to be in such poor condition because they weren’t wet or soggy, they are just really beat up. My hope is that someone will notice this and take immediate action to make things better. My guess is you will hear a lot of this same concern and potentially lose business as a result of the poor upkeep on such a crucial part of the course.
Terrible
They put us right behind a kids tournament. I asked The guy at the desk about the tournament and he said don’t worry they already making the turn. Second hole was backed up two groups. Third hole was backed up two groups and I get to the fourth hole and that is backed up two groups. I went home at that point.
Holey Moley
You weekend warriors need to learn how to fix your divots. Your ball will literally be bouncing on it. In a bad way. Have some respect for the course and for the people around you.
Great place to swing away
Pockmarked greens need help… change grass? Won’t heal
The GREENS. !
I don't understand what is happening there. I've played upwards of 20 different courses this year and I have never seen so many ball marks left unfixed, ever ! I saw suggestions on how to repair in the cart, but the marshalls should be enforcing good practices. My club is having a tournament Saturday at Diamond bar and putting thru all the holes is ridiculous! I fixed a dozen on each green but is no match . I counted over a hudred on every green. Fix your bsll mark or get 86ed
Ball marks
A problem customer’s fixing ball marks on greens.
Suggestion, give your ambassador a ball fixing tool.
Waiting game
If you’re coming here bring something to do on the tee box. You’ll be waiting all day
Slow,slow,slow
They space tee times 5 minutes apart so we ended up starting 15 minutes late. When we did start they were so behind they had us start on the10th hole. Then when we got back to hole 1 there was another 15 minute wait to tee off. The course was nice but the green were horrible. I definitely would never go there again and I recommend nobody does.
Unfun golf day
Closing the range during peak times is a joke of a management decision. Players look forward all week to challenging the golf course and want a simple warm-up and when courses close the range in the a.m. versus the p.m. it starts the day off on a very sour note..
THEN… no on course service all day. Dont get thirsty
THEN… drinking fountains not working.
THEN… food service closes early so no food.
THEN… no marshal to speed up SLOW players.
5 hr round.
Greens
Greens are hard.
Repairing ball marks needs inspiration
A little more sand would be nice
Diamond Bar gof
Fairway were good and pace of play was ok. But greens had tons of divot holes. No one fix their divots. I hope they fix the greens before SCGA tournment in Sept. Very tough hard to putt with so many holes on the green
Nice course
The greens and tee boxes were in good shape. It seemed like the fairways had recently been punched. They are quite firm. The areas around the green could use some attention. The people who work at the course are top notch and it’s a great layout.
Course in good shape for summer play
The course revisions have paid off. The course offers decent challenges and still some terrible crab grass in the areas around greens, but it is decent shape all things considered and has ample shade throughout. Pace could have been a touch better if any groups actually waved up on par 3’s.
