Buffalo Creek Golf Club

Had a great time on a super windy day. Teed off at 2:40 and finished at 6:15 because a nice foursome allowed us to pass thru after the turn and there was no one in front of us after that! Conditions were great and greens were rolling as true and fast as ever. Great round overall

I practiced at driving range under heat before scheduled tee time and drove about 40 min. On Sat afternoon, a young Gen. brought a girl friend w/t her club and on the first tee off she hit 2 balls, only went 50 yards, they shared all his club, on the top of that waiting until his putt ended to get his putter. We were tee off'd 7 min late. On the back 9, 4 some cut in w/t excuses. GPS on my golf cart poped up every hole for p/u speed, so it took over 5 hours to finish.

Before booking, I checked the review below 8/27 and still sandy on greens, front 9 was worse than back 9.

On Monday afternoon around 4 PM Ladies group and Kids group were on front 9, so be aware of it but back 9 was ok to play.

I enjoy playing here because the course condition is very good and the layout is challenging to my playing level. I'm not a fan of a golf course surrounded by the residential homes, but the fairway is wide enough where it didn't bother me as much. If the price stays fair or low, this will be my golf club to make next tee time even though it's a drive to get there.

Fairways and greens were in great shape! There’s really nothing to complain about, with this course.

Love this course but they just punched greens on Monday. Bumpy and sandy. Should be good in about 1.5 - 2 weeks

Overall the course was in poor condition. Only when checking in did mgr tell me the greens were punched and sanded 2 days ago. Then when talking to the starter he pointed out the bunkers hadn’t been touched since a heavy rain 3 days ago due to efforts with the greens. We did elect to go ahead but should have gone back and asked for ref. I’ve played BC many times through the years and this was a terrible round. With these conditions there should have been a much reduced rate. I’ll probably come back but it may be a long while.

Played on a rainy Saturday morning. Finished as a single in 3.5hrs.

Course drains so well you could hardly tell it was wet in most areas. Course has greened up beautifully and is one of the better values in DFW. Staff was extremely friendly. Greens and fairways are immaculate. The golf course is in better shape than many of the private clubs in the area, will absolutely be back.

One of the best public courses I have ever played especially after the week of rain we just got in Dallas, the greens played pure and fast and the fairways had zero dead spots or dirt patches. I would recommend this course to anyone it is well worth the price for how well the staff treats everyone and how they maintain the course.
