Clandon Regis Golf Club

Having played Clandon Regis as a visitor, I was seriously impressed. Considering the prolonged hot, dry weather, the course was in outstanding condition. The tees were immaculate, the greens were true, fast and exceptionally well maintained, and the fairways held up remarkably well. The layout is both enjoyable and challenging, with every hole offering something different. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the clubhouse was the perfect place to relax after the round with great food and service. One of the best-conditioned courses I've played this summer – I'll definitely be back.

What a lovely golf course!

I'm not sure what some of the recent reviews are referring to, but my friend and I had a brilliant afternoon here. The course was pleasantly quiet, and every member of staff we encountered was friendly, welcoming and helpful.

The course itself was in excellent condition, with the best greens we've played on all year. Yes, the fairways are brown and running fast, but we're in the middle of a heatwave, so that's to be expected. If anything, it made for some really enjoyable golf.

The course layout is fantastic, and the new halfway hut was a great addition that really enhanced the experience. All in all, it was a superb Sunday afternoon of golf, and we'll definitely be back soon.

Staffing poor and lacking. Dirty Clubhouse. Proshop lack luster and ran by teenagers. Course was ok but would not dash back. Start to finish made to feel like rubbish. Clubhouse and office staff rude and obnoxious.

Played the course this Monday and was disapoined with the welcome, help and knowledge of the staff. Was looking for a course to join and the ofice staff were not interested in helping in anyway. She looked disinterest and more interested in my friend. The proshop gentleman did not look interested in selling me a bag I was looking at.

The course was in great condition and the greenkeepers should be commended for the presentation and condition. The course flowed well and pace of play was excellent.

After the round we enjoyed a drink on the terrace but the amoutn of empty glasses was off putting.

I would go back if the staff changed their attitudes

Nice course. Greens were good. Fairways could do better. No staff to check me in, no pro around so just went straight on the first. So staff may have been friendly if they could be spotted. Not many challenges to course. Bit overpriced for the quality of the course ranging £40 to £70 so £40 would be top end for this course. Overall solid course

What a course, first visit and loved every second. Course was in immaculate condition, greens included and what a challenge on the old putting stroke. Will 100% be back.

Course good given weather conditions but desperately need sand in the bunkers!

An okay course, flat mostly and muddy. Greens were good but it’s overpriced for its level. Enjoyable round but will not be rushing back to play as it’s a fairly tame challenge. Several of the holes are just long stretches without much challenge. Hit straight and you’ll score well.

Considering all the rain we’ve had, the course was in great condition. Greens were fast and true and bunkers were very well looked after. Some tricky holes and an enjoyable course for all standards.

Have played this course a fair bit - good condition for the time of year. Not busy at all - pace was really quick.

Played from the whites and offers some challenging tee positions. Not overly hilly or long, but tight greens and well placed bunkers make you work for your pars. Enjoyable course that would be really mid handicap friendly

I have played this course before and this was the first time for a few years. it’s not easy but it’s fair - I played well and hence the good review. A good course…..
