Tidy track, interesting layout and good greens
Grey place to go and play golf in Surrey nice and friendly course was in excellent condition and not your standard drive a wedge golf course
Great value for money
First time playing this call, didn’t know what to expect, but what a little gem, lovely course with many interesting holes in great conditions, very welcome in clubhouse. A well spent Sunday morning!!
Played here twice and had an excellent experience. The fairways and greens were in great condition, and the course layout is well designed. The only downside is that it can get a bit busy at times.
Nice test of your game good greens
A fair test of your game in good condition a few holes where prior knowledge of course would be a great help some watery graves awaiting any errant shots but very enjoyable
Great course, brilliant staff
Played here with a couple of friends whilst in the area to watch the BMW Championship Pro AM. The course is brilliant and nicely forgiving without being boring. Greens were in superb condition
The staff were very friendly especially in the Pro shop, although the shop itself (or should I say lack of) is what lets this course down. They do have the bare necessities but it is very sparse and an obvious second thought.
Would recommend and will likely play again if visiting the area.
Well kept!
Played 18 holes all greens and tee boxes in great condition grass on the Fairways too. I will definitely play here again.
Great course for all skill level
As a beginner golf player who has just qualified for a handicap. My view on this course is it is suitable for all standards of player.
There are some quite technical parts of the course (fairway 90 degree turn) and well placed bunkers to test you and water. Oh I forgot the big trees just to really test you - go for it or play safe.
The fairways seemed quite wide (thankfully) and when you go into the rough, the rough isn’t that bad you keep loosing your ball and cause slow play.
It was very hot, and the real be if it it is quite a flat course with a lovely half way house for anything from a cold beer to ice cream or bacon sandwich which you need to call ahead for.
The greens were very green considering the weather so well done ground staff. The fairways were the greenest I have seen this week (played elsewhere)
Yes definitely 5* and yes worth playing there whatever your standard or play.

A Gem
Fab course, cheeky in areas
Fairways great condition considering the dry summer
Greens were nice and well kept
Loverly refreshments shop at th halfway point
Staff friendly and helpful
Great condition!
The course is in excellent condition considering the hot dry spring/summer so far - fairways were green and lush and striking irons/wedges didn’t feel like hitting concrete. The greens were a tad overwatered and so felt quite slow. The course is a good challenge and good variations of layout.
It’s a really boggy and wet course during winter, so it was great to return to experience it in its glory.
Best course in the area
Fairways and greens in brilliant condition, love the course layout every hole is something different and challenging in its own way
Good Layout and Friendly Pro
We were met by a big smile and a very chatty and informative pro who took us through the course layout and was happy to chat about golf in general and especially helpful in obtaining a refund for tee time not cancelled.
The course was well laid out with challenging holes suddenly appearing. Having not played before there were some blind tee shots, so a hole map on each hole, with distances, would have been helpful rather than relying on the small card map.
We had a backlog of 4 groups all waiting whilst an extremely slow 4 ball plodded around. We did not see a course marshall who would have hurried these along! We booked our time slot as there was no one around before us, then suddenly 3 groups were teeing off. The site needed to be updated.
Overall a pleasant afternoon and a course we will definitely be revisiting
Nice track
Tee and greens in great condition and fairways also well watered during this dry season. Would recommend as a nice place to play in a location amongst many heavyweights
James smith
Hidden gem of a course highly recommend bought a friend who’d never played he absoloutly loved it
An interesting and challenging round
The course and clubhouse present very well and we found all the staff friendly and welcoming.
The course has matured well and is well kept with hazards on most holes that cause problems if you are not accurate. A good mix of water and terrain that has created many interesting holes.
We had a very enjoyable round in very good weather. The greens are in excellent condition with some challenging profiles.
Great course, Friendly & Helpful staff. A really enjoyable day
