A
Great course, really good layout totally enjoy game, and setting. Only fault no sand in bunkers, unplayable with with loads of stones in.
Excellent Greens
Really good course layout, plenty of interesting holes.
Sutton Green Golf Club 27/5/2026
This is the second time we have used this course as it is relatively central for the locations where my two playing partners and I live.
The course is a good, fair challenge for golfers of all abilities, providing some interesting hole layouts with some well-spaced trees and a reasonable amount of water hazards to consider. Despite the several continuous days of "heatwave" weather preceding and actually on the day of our visit, the course was in very good overall condition. There is also some great wildlife to try and spot.
Staff hospitality was excellent, both at reception and in the bar area, and other golfers, be they members or guests, were all very friendly.
Parking was plentiful on the day
We would certainly consider returning to Sutton Green in the future - provided it is not yet another piece of green land that ends up being turned into a housing estate.
Greens are great
The greens are really good shape with a good speed, the obly thing is some of then weren’t clean. Staff very kind & friendly. Course amenities very short fairways fair conditions.
Superb
Stunning course.
In good shape but slow
Course in good shape with no mats or temporary greens.
Unfortunately was unusually slow, I think due to society.
Tidy track, interesting layout and good greens
Grey place to go and play golf in Surrey nice and friendly course was in excellent condition and not your standard drive a wedge golf course
Great value for money
First time playing this call, didn’t know what to expect, but what a little gem, lovely course with many interesting holes in great conditions, very welcome in clubhouse. A well spent Sunday morning!!
Played here twice and had an excellent experience. The fairways and greens were in great condition, and the course layout is well designed. The only downside is that it can get a bit busy at times.
Nice test of your game good greens
A fair test of your game in good condition a few holes where prior knowledge of course would be a great help some watery graves awaiting any errant shots but very enjoyable
Great course, brilliant staff
Played here with a couple of friends whilst in the area to watch the BMW Championship Pro AM. The course is brilliant and nicely forgiving without being boring. Greens were in superb condition
The staff were very friendly especially in the Pro shop, although the shop itself (or should I say lack of) is what lets this course down. They do have the bare necessities but it is very sparse and an obvious second thought.
Would recommend and will likely play again if visiting the area.
Well kept!
Played 18 holes all greens and tee boxes in great condition grass on the Fairways too. I will definitely play here again.
Great course for all skill level
As a beginner golf player who has just qualified for a handicap. My view on this course is it is suitable for all standards of player.
There are some quite technical parts of the course (fairway 90 degree turn) and well placed bunkers to test you and water. Oh I forgot the big trees just to really test you - go for it or play safe.
The fairways seemed quite wide (thankfully) and when you go into the rough, the rough isn’t that bad you keep loosing your ball and cause slow play.
It was very hot, and the real be if it it is quite a flat course with a lovely half way house for anything from a cold beer to ice cream or bacon sandwich which you need to call ahead for.
The greens were very green considering the weather so well done ground staff. The fairways were the greenest I have seen this week (played elsewhere)
Yes definitely 5* and yes worth playing there whatever your standard or play.
