Enjoyed

Lovely course. Such a shame what happened with the greens ( F€$¥#£s ). Really enjoyed it was a fairly challenging course. Played 18 and was nice as a lot of 9 holes don't really change as you're coming back around. This one did and felt like a different course. Again really enjoyed it.

Dartmouth Gold course

We arrived early at 10.15am for a 11.00am tee off, the restaurant wasn’t open so unable to buy refreshments, the clubhouse was also closed and when we eventually found the Green keeper he informed us the greens had been vandalised and were unplayable but temporary Green were in use. We asked for a score card and told the guy who runs clubhouse is called Lord Lucan ( his words) because he’s never there. The course itself was poor with very inadequate signage as regards to direction for next tee and poor overall. Very poor value for money and I won’t be returning or recommending to friends.

Great beginners course!

It’s a decent course with some interesting holes, the day before I played some idiots had ruined every green on the course with their electric bikes, so all greens was off temps.

The course overall was alright, great for people new to golf

Dartmouth Golf Course

We arrived early, 10.15 for our 11.00 AM Tee off, no signs directing us to the club house. The main building which is a bar come restaurant was open but no staff had started their shift so unable to purchase a coffee or food.

We eventually found the green keeper who informed use all the greens had been vandalised and had temporary greens.

He told of the club house was closed and no buggies were available as the guy who runs is was like Lord Lucan ( his words) and was never there. Most of the holes had no direction markers so finding next tee was a lottery, all in all poor value for money and I will not be returning there .

Walked

Very, very hilly! Exhausting

Just lots of up hill and down dale, especially the 9th / 18th hill which is a crippler! Very steep climb up to the clubhouse.

Not Great to be honest.

Very sad to be honest.

Club shop not open. Restaurant seemed busier than the actual golf club on a Saturday.

No one really knew we had booked a tee time.

Course fairways was not in best condition. 5/6 winter tees which was wasn't in great condition.

Real shame as some holes are really well presented but just looks run down and not looked after. Seems like they have spent more money on the restaurant and food offering than on the golf course.

Won't be going again unless improved in summertime.

Worth the money, could be better

The first time playing this course i arrived with no staff anywhere, no idea where to head so confusing from the start. Having said that once you get going it is a really enjoyable course. I did get lost the first time of playing and spoke to regulars about getting me back on the right road. Played twice now and still no idea where to pick up scorecards. After the way I played I was happy not to have one in the end. Good course, will be so much better come summer time. I feel with attendance from staff with information this could be so much more profitable for the owners
