A hidden gem of a coarse in the Midlands
Having played sandwell golf course a couple of times now at different times of the year always in immaculate condition and always welcomed by staff and members the coarse is forgiving but also very demanding and will penalise any big wayward shots ie lost ball or just having to play safe the greens and fairways are some of the best I've played on for a lot less money than other championship courses I've played on in the Midlands if you've never played here before well worth a try
Very busy course.
Big queue on the first tee, so very busy. Course was good, especially the greens. The greens were very fast and in great condition. Only gripe we had was that there weren't any next tee markers on some of the holes. Lovely course at a reasonable price, shame I had really bad round.
Great potential in summer
Bad points: Course doesn't appear to handle rain well and drainage was poor. It was muddy and wet under foot for a number of the holes and a lot of the bunkers were full of water rendering them unplayable.
Good points: The course has an interesting design with some long par 4's. Lay out was good and i believe in the summer it would be a lovely course to play. Loved the smell of baking bread from the nearby Kingsmill factory.
Good course
Not a bad track, lots of interesting holes, slightly hampered by the wet conditions of late but more than playable. Could do with a tidy but for winter it’s in great nick. Shame a few of the greens were out of action, didn’t know this before. The greens that were available run fast and true. Overall a good experience.
Lovely course, amazing greens
I play on Thursday great course, lovely lay out amazing greens for the time of year, only played here once before ! And can’t wait to come back again great value with golf now staff and bar choices were lovely
Hidden gem
Lovely lovely lovely course, Tucked behind the m5 and the wba stadium this place is a treat. Lush fairways, speedy greens, nice rough, emaculate tees, super friendly staff (cute bar girl), members all seemed to be on a nice level. Fully fully recommend this place. I got it on a free hot deal but £45 pounds to okay here wouldnt be a bad price at all.

Why do you keep asking me for feedback, the course was closed (weather) you took 10 days to refund me, after I had traveled to the venue, I’m grading them poorly, but it’s golf now at fault here, you aren’t even in touch with the venues you sell for. Shambles. Feedback from you required….
Nice course , but …..
Bunkers need a lot of work . Damaged my sand wedge on some large stones in the sand .
Liked the course and would go agian but would certainly be checking what’s around the ball in the sand
Never felt so welcomed by members
Played here for the first time and i must say, the members are fantastic.
This is the first course i have played at and every member was so welcoming. Course was great and services are fantastic also.
10/10
Staff very welcoming and helpful the course was in beautiful condition and the greens were immaculate highly recommended well worth the money definitely returning soon
Great course
1st time playing Sandwell
I think the course is in fantastic condition. Greens had been dressed but running really well. Fairways where tight and Lovely to play off.
Pro shop staff very helpful
Thank you again I will certainly be back
Couldn’t even get on the course
They wouldn’t even let us on the course even though I had booked and paid for the round
Ollie and Win
This course was well laid out. The greens and fairways were rapid as we played following 4 days of sunshine, arid conditions. There are lots of twists and hazards in this course, especially the telegraph towers.
Really friendly clubhouse and golf shop.
Good layout, a real challenge
The course was in great condition, greens a nice quick pace. Second time I've played it and it was just as good as how I remembered it. Will definitely play again.
Only unfortunate thing was that as two three-balls we were behind a society playing Texas Scramble, and they took forever, we had long waits on tees with other groups backing up behind us.
