Davenport Golf Club

Greens were pure and very fast considering the recent rain, a few were a bit softer than others underfoot but still very playable.

Fairways & rough were well maintained.

Bunkers - some perfect a few need a bit more sand if I was being picky.

Tees were a bit bare but understandable considering the hot summer, wouldn't put me off.

Layout was good with a good variety of straight holes doglegs & different yardages.

Course in superb condition, greens perfect, rain has helped lots, fairways getting back to green again, and the greens are perfecy

Very much enjoyed our 2 ball, first time playing this venue. We had a 09.40 t time, and were allowed to go out slightly early to be ahead of a 4 ball. Course was reasonably dry, still a little soft in areas. Greens were very fast, took a while to get the pace, but all very enjoyable. We were never held up, nor held anyone else up. We would certainly recommend.

Lovely course. Greens in top condition. Fairways range between narrow and wide to give a taste of tough or easier to hit.

Nice course, but we gave ourselves time after finding out in the morning was a lot of society’s golfers, so only did 13holes as it would of been 1.5 hours more to finish

Davenport is the best kept course we have played in the area when comparing it with 4 others within a 10 mile radius of Davenport.

Highly recommended, great layout and if you are straight off the tee you should be in a great position to secure a great round score.

From the signing in the golf shop to playing the course, the overall experience was fantastic...great course, great layout, greens were in perfect condition.....a lovely mix of holes for a very enjoyable round of golf !

Played it for the first time as a relatively new golfer and can honestly say it has been the best course I've played.

Played on a Sunday at the start of May, never been before but will definitely be returning.

The layout of the course is great, with a good mix of challenge throughout the course. Most if not all the greens are elevated so your short game & shots in really get tested.

If you’re in the Cheshire area it’s a must play, I can’t waitt to go back

Course was in good condition overall, the greens were receptive and have recovered well from the maintenance/ top dressing was just about still present but in the most the greens run well and were pretty quick.
