Great Lever & Farnworth Golf Club

Driven past this course on the M61 hundreds of times and always wondered what it would be like !

It's a great short course that needs a good strategy to get round well.

Quite narrow that demands respect and accuracy, greens are a wonderful challenge and great fun !!!!!!

Lots of undulating features and still very quick for October.

Some work was being done on the fairways but it didn't cause any issues.

Bar was closed but it was mentioned when booking, Monday and Tuesday usually closed apparently.

Had a good round and really enjoyed the challenges and accuracy rather than distance is your friend.

Would definitely play here again.

Our first time playing this course this season although we have played here many times over the years.

Fairways and greens in excellent condition, the tees a little bit iffy, but it is towards the end of the season.

Sadly on Mondays and Tuesdays there is no bar service or food only a coffee machine and flapjacks, Mars bars and kitkats from the pro shop.

We will be back

We played the golf course late September for the time of year the greens were in good condition. Only criticism.the tees could have been better. Would recommend and would definitely plat there again.

Great 68 course, played couple times in last 3 weeks. Rained on recent round so some greens a little drenched but other time they were wre great.

Excellent course, friendly staff and members, It had had some heavy rain but most of the course was fine

just a couple of greens holding a bit of water but didn't spoil the round.

Will definitely be back.

last minute booking for two of us. im a 9 handicapper . pro was friendly, members very helpful. course was in fantastic condition. some tricky holes you had to plot around as erratic driving would get punished, so had to change your thinking. great greens. what a gem... ill be back.. fantastic .

Wow... Got a great deal on this gem of a course, wasn't expecting much, but how wrong I was. For under £20...Great layout, had to plot your way around with course management. Great greens, friendly members, great staff, get yourself down there, you won't be disappointed . We will definitely be back 🏌️🏌️🏌️💯

Fun course, greens were in fantastic condition. Fun course.

Wish I lived closer to this course, I would join in a heartbeat.

Great value for money some character holes and greens in fantastic condition

Got to the course and found everything to be very good look forward to returning

Cracking course. Pleasantly surprised as cheaper to play than most. Course in great condition especially given the heatwave. Not a course to try to overpower, but a great layout for all abilities. Will definitely be coming back.

All in good condition at a good price. Only problem is the bunkers need to be improved
