The course played great, greens especially. Some of the tees a let down but the overall feel of the course has a quality to it. Demanding finish but some really memorable holes 7, 9, 10, 12, 16 and 18 stand out. Really have to earn your score.

Would highly recommend, course is great with wide but undulating fairways quite a few temporary greens but that was because of work being done. Members are really nice chatting to me as I went round and even giving a few tips. Would recommend a visit, know I will be back sooner rather than later.

Great course. Good practice facilities, greens were spot on and 19th hole staff very friendly. Will be back.

Just played the course on sunday 31st August 2025 and can honestly say we have played this course many times and love it but today was like a different place tee boxes hardly any grass muddy .greens spiked and was charged nearly 50 pounds for what I would describe as a municipal course .we played morecambe last week for 40 and it was immaculate groundsman need get grip at bolton sorry to say .

Exellent course in tip top condition from tee greens. The nicest greens I’ve played on in a long time. Can’t wait get back there!

Really enjoyed playing this course albeit it was winter and playing off winter tees and greens were a little bit hairy and somewhat slow because of the wet weather, looking forward to playi ng tbis course again in the summer.

We played here for the first time and it was quite the challenge. Very “hilly” so beware any of you who struggle with inclines on a course. It was mats off the fairway but that’s understandable given they’re looking to protect the course prior to the full season. The condition of the course was great and it was a very enjoyable round. With the deal we got on Golf Now - it proved excellent value for money.

First time playing here, we liked the layout of the course. It was open and with some great views across Bolton. Considering it was winter, it wasn’t too wet or boggy but you did need to play off a fairway mat.

We would definitely play again in the summer months!

Course was in good condition considering the weather we have had recently good value for money at £18

Ths course has some excellent features the greens are excellent apart from persistent rainfall we had a thoroughly enjoyable day and would highly recommend this course

First off the guy in the pro shop was so helpful and the course for this time of year was superb thank you for great day. Will be returning .
