Great course. Good practice facilities, greens were spot on and 19th hole staff very friendly. Will be back.

Just played the course on sunday 31st August 2025 and can honestly say we have played this course many times and love it but today was like a different place tee boxes hardly any grass muddy .greens spiked and was charged nearly 50 pounds for what I would describe as a municipal course .we played morecambe last week for 40 and it was immaculate groundsman need get grip at bolton sorry to say .

Exellent course in tip top condition from tee greens. The nicest greens I’ve played on in a long time. Can’t wait get back there!

Really enjoyed playing this course albeit it was winter and playing off winter tees and greens were a little bit hairy and somewhat slow because of the wet weather, looking forward to playi ng tbis course again in the summer.

We played here for the first time and it was quite the challenge. Very “hilly” so beware any of you who struggle with inclines on a course. It was mats off the fairway but that’s understandable given they’re looking to protect the course prior to the full season. The condition of the course was great and it was a very enjoyable round. With the deal we got on Golf Now - it proved excellent value for money.

First time playing here, we liked the layout of the course. It was open and with some great views across Bolton. Considering it was winter, it wasn’t too wet or boggy but you did need to play off a fairway mat.

We would definitely play again in the summer months!

Course was in good condition considering the weather we have had recently good value for money at £18

Ths course has some excellent features the greens are excellent apart from persistent rainfall we had a thoroughly enjoyable day and would highly recommend this course

First off the guy in the pro shop was so helpful and the course for this time of year was superb thank you for great day. Will be returning .

Played after work on my own whilst working away from home.

Was a brilliant round of golf, lot of thought required for some of the holes. Wind and weather play a big part.

Other golfers were really friendly, either letting me pass as a one ball or just offering advice on how holes played.

Course was in excellent condition with the greens being true and relatively fast for the time of year.

Pace of play was excellent and being only a two ball we were not held up at all.

The only downside was as we came off the course at 6.30 pm we found that the clubhouse was closed and we had to go elsewhere for drinks and a bite to eat.

Was up that way booked a game for myself ended up taking the teenage lad with me the pro in the shop had no problem adding him on to the tee time. The course was in great condition from tee to green wouldn't hesitate to visit again
