3 of us were booked on for 4pm, we arrived at 3pm to hit some balls in the range etc.. surprisingly the Pro Shop wasn’t open, no one to be seen! Couldn’t even get a scorecard for our round, luckily a member had a spare to hand!!

I have to say I expected more from the course at this time of the year, all the tee boxes were over grown, uneven and very patchy. The greens were woolly and very slow and the fairways looked like they hadn’t been cut for days!!

It was very disappointing as this is supposed the be one of the best courses in the area! We won’t be in a rush to come back…

Enjoyed playing but probably won't rush back. Course in good conditions including greens though personally the cambers were a bit frustrating on some holes.

Course has an interesting layout I definitely preferred the back 9. Pace of play was good greens were mega would recommend.

The first two thirds of the course are on the hill sides, making for some tricky sloping lies & tough walking in strong winds & heavy showers. The last holes are much more comfortable, parkland style, Overall enjoyable & some interesting holes & good views around.

The greens were still showing some signs of previous maintenance work, but were pretty good.

Clubhouse staff very friendly and helpful.

Great value hot deal, I recommend a visit, but check the weather.

Really enjoyed it! Course was in great shape greens had been spiked but still great.

This course is brutal.

A real test of all aspects of your game particularly your ability to play in challenging weather… wind!

If there was no wind here; you could breeze round with relative ease but the wind changes so frequently due to its location it’s a head scratcher at times.

Greens pure, again really challenging.

This course was in very good condition and has really nice views. I think it is really good value for money. If you are considering playing, you should. It is quite hilly but manageable and as I said, the views are nice.

So I've seen this keep popping up when looking at booking courses so took the plunge and booked it today

So first 9 ok back 9 much better rating it 8.7

However this would have been slightly better had the greens not been heavily top sanded which ruins it.

If you've not played it give it a go 5th hole was rather strange to find you need to keep going up could be better signs posted

I will preface this with the fact I played the worst golf of the last 2 years here. I was truly shockingly bad.

That said, the course is fairly easy, I feel that had I played that bad anywhere else, I'd have rightfully been destroyed on the card, instead, it just looked very bad.

Also 2 holes were closed entirely. Again, understandable as it was early March, but GolfNow.com really need to start something about course availability, this is my 2nd booking off here in a month where full price has been charged by them when the course is offering cheaper play due to maintenance works in person.

It's a good course, but I do think it needs a few more challenges. The club house and pro shop were golden though, truly nice people working in them. Overalls solid 4/5, no matter how much I played like a 0.5/5

16 and 17 closed due to amount of rain, course in good condition to say how much rain we have had lately
