Disappointed
I was disappointed with my experience.
The course itself was only in average condition. Considering the hot weather, the fairways were very hard and dry, while the greens, aprons and tee boxes were just average.
The biggest issue, however, was the pace of play. By the 3rd hole I was stuck behind a four-ball in a seniors’ competition. They refused to let anyone play through despite holding everyone up. They were even hitting provisional balls from several tees, which made the delays even worse.
By the time I reached the 15th hole, there were four groups waiting on the par 5 with another group arriving at the tee. After four hours, I decided to leave rather than finish the round. The recommended time for 18 holes on this course is around three hours, so this was completely unacceptable.
I raised my concerns in the pro shop before leaving and was told I would receive a call back. I’m still waiting.
Overall, poor course management and a complete lack of pace-of-play control ruined what should have been an enjoyable round.
Great course
Played in the extreme heat, but in a buggy, with views to the Estuary & coast from a lot of the holes, this was a great course to play. Most holes were well laid out with tricky shots to achieve good scores !!
It was a pleasure to play .
Really fun with hills
Really good afternoon however steep hills so good if you’re into keeping your fitness although all hills have paved tracks overall really positive experience friendly staff as well as the other patrons will be returning
Excellent course
This was a lovely course. Tees in fantastic condition the fairways and greens exceptional. Lovely staff definitely will be back.
boxing day round
scratch golfer, £29 per player, great course for the money,
Caught course in good weather
Before poor weather arrives played and enjoyed.
Will not play in rain / mud or winter.
Lovely undulating course with elevation changes
A great course. Loads of hills, elevation changes, trees but not too many.
Short par 4s that ask you to have a go.
It was very dry and the fairways and greens were like concrete.
Great sand in the bunkers.
Will be back.
LITTLE HIDDEN GEM
Lovely little course. Not the hardest but great fun, good views and friendly. Pace of play good so definitely recommended.
Nicely laid out course,
Nice, flat course. Well maintained and some nice par 4’s very much gettable. Will be visiting again.
Wet, very wet.
Overall it was a great experience playing Worlebury. Unfortunately for us the course was extremely wet. On the plus side we were the only ones playing. Will definitely be giving it a go when the weather improves
