DeBell Golf Club
About
DeBell Golf Club in Burbank offers an 18-hole Regulation Course and a nine-hole disc golf course. The Regulation Course has a tight layout with narrow fairways and a variety of elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. Accuracy is the key to doing well on this golf course but it's not overly punishing. Its risk-reward holes will appeal to low and high handicappers alike. The front nine is fairly challenging but the back nine is where the golf course gets tough. Although DeBell Golf Club is short, only 5,608 yards from the back tees, the blind shots and winding doglegs make it seem much longer than it is. There isn't any water on the golf course but you'll hardly miss its presence with all the other hazards that lurk throughout.

Aim Well/ choose clubs wisely
DeBell is a shorter than typical course, but by no means simpler or easier. You do not need your driver or three wood on every T box; this is a course that will allow you to use every Club in your bag. The course is in really good shape, it’s not Augusta Junior, but the greens are fair, the cups are trimmed with no overhang, there is sand in the bunkers, and the tea box distances are fair and competitive.
The staff are just great! Everyone is friendly, eager to help, and really add to the overall experience. If you are playing for the first time, bring more golf balls, and you typically do, as the out of bounds is really out of bounds.
Easy parking, good food.
FINALLY
Been playing this course ten plus years and they finally got their act straight. The fairways are beautiful, the tee boxes are finally respectable looking and overall a huge transformation. Whoever is in charge now really knows golf and they did a fantastic job with the entire course. One of the best public courses in LA.
Great course
Course was in great shape greens were perfect place looks great with the upgrades
Excellent Mid day Course
This course wasn't hard by any means and it keeps you honest. I had the opportunity to play during the week which is the best time to play. I have heard the nightmare that it is playing this course during the weekend due to 6 hour round. Play this course during the week for the best experience and play this course during the weekend for one of the longer rounds.
Third party booking
Course charged each golfer in group $57 normally pay $36 with senior card but was told that booking thru a third party which I assume is Golfnow.
Good time
Course was in great condition. It’s a pretty challenging course. Had a blast.
Worth it!!
Challenging and fun course. Compared to courses in the area the lies and greens were superior. Took a long time for us to finish so be prepared for that. When I play this course again I will def be working on my putting beforehand. Overall the boys and I loved this course and had an exciting competitive round. Love how most of holes are hidden and you can’t really see anyone else on other holes when you are teeing off. For a course in the valley, there was a nice breeze and a lot of shade to beat the heat. Cart girl came around twice at the perfect times to allow us to cool off with Gatorades and waters. Will be coming back and recommend to anyone looking for a challenge.
Unplayable greens without warning
This is a strange course, lots of short dog leg holes that require less than driver off the tee. Tight fairways require precision with irons. The course was aerated when I played. Greens were literally unplayable (photo shows the "best" green of the day...). Some holes had an inch of uneven sand around the cup. There was no notice on the website about the aeration. Very disappointing, quit after 9 holes.
First time playing - solid course
Course was solid for the price. Good balance of proximity to my home, difficulty, and price. They had a beverage cart. And pace of place was decent but could have been better. I don’t see a starter or anyone riding around helping to improve pace of play. Be warned All of the holes dogleg
