Hansen Dam Golf Course

It isn't fancy but the course is well-maintained and straightforward. Be prepared to find unrepaired pitch marks on greens.

Course was in excellent condition. Greens and fairways were well maintained. Pace of play allowed us to play in 4 1/2 hours. Friendly staff I wouldd definitely play the course again.

They will give away your tee time if you get stuck in traffic. Was literally in line at the pro shop to check in at 10:00am for my 10:10 tee time when it had already been given away.,

I love playing Hansen dam. Pace of play during the week is usually 4:30 or less. Nice layout with moderately challenging holes. T time spacing is ten minutes, minimizing backup.

Clubhouse needs to be renovated to make it more inviting for a sit down meal or glass of beer. I rarely see anyone socializing in there, and I think it’s just the look and vibe of the place in general.

To make this course top notch, fill the traps with sand and maintain the T boxes better, update the club house experience.

This course is always a fun place to play. There are some mild elevation changes, a variety of hole lengths, and the greens are usually in pretty good shape. Like all city courses, it can get crowded, especially on the weekends, but it might be a little less crowded than the Griffith Park and Sepulveda Basin courses. And nothing like Rancho. Anyone who lives here long enough will find themselves playing here from time to time, and that's because it is a good course.

Excellent track. Great condition for a public city course

I was late for my round, but the staff was kind enough to drive me out to join the group. Course played in 4 hours and 10 minutes from the first tee. Course conditions were good with the greens rolling around a 9.5 but smooth.

I always enjoy Hansen Dam with its lush trees and moderate challenges. Fun course to work on your game and try new things without the fear of losing balls.

A nice and interesting layout. Nothing boring .

For a public course it is in good shape.
