Chastain Park Golf Course

The round was as expected although it had been a while given that the conditions have been pretty awful here. It seems like there have been some improvements so that's good.

NOTE: on the 14th hole, someone had in very large letters written a racial slur along with swa sticka symbols in the sand trap. This was very unsettling and I was super disappointed. This is not the courses fault, but certainly did not make for a better round of golf. Its truly a shame. Of course myself and the other in my group promptly cleaned the trap.

This course is in a lot better shape than it used to be. First they worked on the cart path, then they worked on the fairways and this year they worked on the greens…Great!

Old course no issue with that. Alot of standing water on cart paths and around greens,drainage issues Had not rained recently.Also parking is hard to find.

The greens are still n bad shape nobody played on the greens for 6 months and this is what you get. At this point it's time to fire the person or people who are taking care of the greens. And get a real green thumb. Just throwing money away instead of paying to get it right the first time.. they got valet parking and brunch on Sunday. Rumor around the clubhouse as they haven't punched since Covid. But as long as you have a rule and automatic to put when you hit the green, you should be fine. The layout is great.

The course has some rough tee boxes amd greens but we really enjoy the layout and the fairways.

What has happened to this wonderful local course? The conditions have become horrible. Greens are dirt and fairways overgrown.

Didn't think you could bring it back that fast . The greens were in horrible shape 6 months ago. Tip my hat to mother nature . And of course the greens keeper . Great layout . This was a tour stop right before the Masters. Chi chi Rodriguez drove #1 .

We were disappointed all the water stations were empty on a 97 degree day

Repairs are needed on a lot of the course, and course have a lot of dirt and dead spots. Play is slow. Best to figure out when is a slow day before booking. I booked in the hottest park of day in the middle of the week and still ran into slow play.

Really cool layout in a really beautiful area with an amazing staff. Horrible conditions. The people are great and this is nothing against the folks that help run the place. They would be better off putting turf greens and covering them. They're really bad. Like really bad. Other than that, the course is cool

Challenging layout but 6 greens under repair with temporary green in fairway. Ruined the experience

It's Chastain, so it's not like I'm expecting a ton, but very disappointing getting out there to find at least a third of the course has greens in the middle of the fairway while work is being done on the actual greens . There is just a sheet of paper on the front door of the clubhouse, but paying full price, booking it online without any notice this would be the case, it's frustrating to say the least,

Absolutely horrible conditions. This place makes Candler Park look like Augusta. This place has a lot of potential, but good gosh the mgmt. team needs to be replaced ASAP.

Tee boxes and greens were not good, multiple holes with greens closed and temp flags up in the fairway. Won’t be back in the near future.

The course was almost unplayable. The greens on the front 9 were terrible. My friend and I ended the round after the front 9 due to the course conditions.
