Arrowhead Country Club

I don't know what these people are doing to Arrowhead and Shandon Hills. Both of these courses took a humongous dive since the new owners took over. They should sell as a moral obligation to the golf community.

1- I paid full price on Golfnow with no notification of aeration(or horrible course condition in general) and the club house was only charging $42. Most courses will adjust the price on golf now and have a notification that the greens are aerated. I believe the owners purposely do not adjust the golfnow price.

2- The conditions were absolutely horrible. One fairway had huge aeration going through the middle of it. The greens, despite being aerated had huge patches of dirt just like Shandon Hills does. I am not sure why these people bought golf courses if they do not know how to take care of them.

3- The maintenace crew could care less that you exist. One lawnmower forced us to move are cart because he drove straight into us. On multiple occasions, we had to ask the maintenance crew to move out of the way so we could hit our shots. Another maintenance crew just stayed right in front of us while we were hitting long irons. Never in my life have I've seen maintenance crews blatantly disregard the golfer as if we are a nuisance to work day.

4- Snack bar closed so playing on empty stomach on the back nine (Big Surprise)

5- Had a grand selection of Wilson golf balls and used balls in the pro(amateur) shop

It is amazing this course is still open.

Course conditions need vast improvement. I played the back 9 twice, as they were doing maintenance on the front 9. Fairways had dry spots and a lot of bare ground. Some of the greens were patchy with bare ground. Hard sand. Pace of play was okay, just know what you’re signing up for. Staff was extremely friendly. Staff showed me where hole 10 was since it was my first time on the course.

Overall, good for game management practice.

Overall, a fun place to play. Very flat but some tricky guarding bunkers. There are some ponds that are not visible from tee grounds. Better layup accordingly. Some fairways have patchy short cut ruff instead of clean turf . That will change the yardage for approach shots.

Good course for a good price even though it was 104 degrees. We survived. Long course with slow greens and lots of trees, thankfully, for the shade. We will play again but probably wait for Fall.

Well first time here and I was excited. But that went away asap. Let's time with the 1st tee. Had the landscaper using the leaf blower 10 feet from the first tee blowing all the dirt into me and my cart. He couldn't wait for me to tee off. Second the golf cart dead on my by the 3rd hole. Pace of the course was not great had 3 groups stack on every hole. Must kept it moving but it was still bad. The worst part was all the insects wow I have never been more frustrated about bugs. Every hole every hit there were insects everywhere on you. It was so bad I couldn't even finish the course I had to pack it up by the 11th hole. I really would have like to finish even with the slow pace but the insects kept me from doing so. Course layout is not bad condition its average at best. For me it wasn't worth it so I couldn't recommend this course for $15 more go play Sierra Lakes.

Every time we’ve golfed here the pace of play has been great! The greens are amazing and kept well. Open and flat course surrounded by beautiful homes and an amazing view of the lake Arrowhead mountains. This course is always in our rotation.

It was a blast really loved hole one and 2 great course all the way around

Nobody told us only 9 holes were open.

It was a total cluster.

Great layout...pace of play spotty...always depends on other golfers...today there were no groups of drunk non golfers so we finished in 3 hours...great staff n course in good shape
