Port at Harborside International Golf Center

Played here on a Friday night tee time was 4:40pm with sunset at 7:30.

Everyone was friendly and nice that I spoke to but the tee course was so backed up it was unenjoyable. We would be done with a hole and be waiting for 5 mins at the next tee box for the guys infront of us to hit. The course was fully booked and I truly wasn’t able to enjoy my round as I should due to the overbooking they had on the course. Other than that course was great it was well kept and the layout while difficult it was forgiving. I hope to play again in the future with better pace of play especially when I’m paying $70 for twilight hours.

Port course cart paths final fixed - makes the whole experience so much better

I called the Pro Shop before my tee time to ask if hey had any restrictions and was told none. However, there were 4-5 holes that were cart path only and the condition of those hole were awful. Their cart path are in very bad condition.

The course has horrible drainage and cart paths are in disrepair. For the amount they charge they should update the cart paths.

I played on a day that saw four days of previous rain. I tried to cancel but was told no. The course had so much standing water. And the rough didn't appear to have been trimmed in many days. Because the rough is exceedingly high, the grass was so wet making it impossible to hit out of.

The course should not have opened, or given full refunds.

Both tracks are great!! They are working on improving and replacing the cart paths.

I was disappointed overall. The staff is amazing from the checked bags, restaurant service and the starter. All friendly and attentive. The greens were fantastic as well. But overall, the course looks unkept, rundown and just worn. Flower beds are empty with just mulch in them. All around the cart paths are just dirt like they have given up trying to keep grass there. Weeds all over the grounds. No water on course at all. Only two garbage cans total on the 18 holes. One rake per sand bunker and the bunkers are huge so bunkers don’t get raked. I heard great things about the place so was excited to play. Unlikely I’ll ever come back.

Several years .. don’t get it-

I golfed here after a night of really bad storms. I couldn’t believe how playable the course was. Almost like it hardly rained.

Ver challenging especially if you don’t hit the ball straight. The course is in great shape but the cart paths are pretty torn up.

So much fun….played in 30 mph winds and still loved it.

Went back 2 days later and shot 11 shots better with less wind!

Played the Port Course both days and looking forward to playing the Starboard course as well.

Everyone needs to play this course at least once. Beautiful views, beautiful course, excellent layout. Looking forward to playing Starboard Course next!

This is an outstanding course. Typically in great condition with smooth and fast greens and it was the day I played. I got a hot deal and that is why I played it because usually it is out of my price range.

This course has arguably the best practice facility in the area if not the State. The course was in great shape and some of the holes offer a view of the Chicago skyline.

My only complaint about Harborside is for the cost per round, they need to put money into replacing the cart paths. Arguable some of the worst cart paths in all of Chicagoland.

When I played this course a few years ago, it was a really nice facility. Now it is in ruins . The cart path is in HORRIBLE shape, The rough is so uneven, if the ball falls in the rough it is going be in a small pit. It is so uneven, it is hard to cleanly hit it out. The fairways has so many damaged spots. The only positive i can see is the greens are in fairly good shape. I hate to recommend this place to a good golfer. The green fees have gone up significantly and the quality of the course has gone down deep.
