This was my first time playing here and for the price it was absolutely perfect! The course was in good shape the people were friendly and it was an overall great experience!
Save Your Money
I thought this would be a premier course since it's located in an area outside of New Bern. I have never been more wrong. Fairways were terrible. All weeds and long grass on fairways. Facility bathrooms smelled like I was in Detroit. I'll never play here again. Hopefully new management will take over and spend some time cleaning this place up.
Beautiful
Course was in good shape. Greens were full and true. I love this place. Always in good shape and they are always friendly.

Always good to come back to this course. People are always friendly and course is in good shape.
Challenging but fun
Course was in decent condition with some overgrown tee boxes and fairways. The greens were recently punched so were a little difficult to read and were not as receptive. The layout is definitely one that requires specific shot placement on some holes due to trees and obstacles, but easy enough for average golfers to navigate. The staff were AMAZING! Was scheduled for a round through GolfNow and they had a tournament going, but still got us out for the round and were very accommodating. Definitely recommend playing if in the area and want a course with tight fairways and challenging greens.
Disappointing
The course was laden with large grass clumps. In some areas it was difficult to tell the fairway from the rough. There was tall weed grass on quite a few greens. We weren’t able to play the front nine since they were aerating. Overall very disappointing. This is a course we visit often and will visit again. It is normally in good shape.
Hot Deal was a great value!
Nice layout, a lot of water holes. Fairways were in good shape, greens were top dressed so not bad but a lot of sand to deal with on every putt. Turf conditions on the tees were inconsistent. Staff was friendly, and pace of play was ideal. Hot Deal was $27 with a cart, best value I’ve seen anywhere in this area. We would definitely play here again!
