Great views and value!
This was my first time to play here and although the fairways had not entirely greened up yet the course was awesome. I’ll definitely be back and bring some friends.
Best Kept Secret in WNC
Have played this course many times and am always amazed by the natural beauty on and surrounding it. Never seems to be overly crowded and always more reasonable than the courses where I live. This time the greens weren't in their normal pristine condition due to recent aeration but there was an alert when I booked the Tee Time so I knew that going in. Can't wait to play it again.
Terrible
Mountain Harbor leaves me the impression they're struggling with the $$. Hardly any staff, no marshall to speed up play.
Fivesomes are unacceptable on any golf course, but would appear Mountain Harbour has accepted them with open arms. Not the first time this has happened, but it is my last dealing with this community.
There are better managed courses in this area and I would not recommend golfers waste their money on this course.
Fun golf day
Beautiful course. Staff members are friendly and helpful. Lots of fun to play.
I LOVE this course!
Playing golf in February means course conditions will be dicey at best, but this was my second round at Mountain Harbour in the past few weeks and I was very impressed both times with the condition of the course. There has been a ton of rain and cold here over the past couple months, but there was virtually no standing water on the course, the mud was at a minimum and everything was mowed and groomed. I have paid far more to play courses in far worse condition. Plus, the scenery is absolutely beautiful at this course! Again, even in winter...the ugliest time of the year...the mountains, creeks, and ponds provide gorgeous views on virtually every hole. I LOVE this course!
Mountain Harbor Holiday Round of Golf
My wife and I played this course again, perhaps this was our 10th time. Small slivers of snow left from 3 days ago, but the sun came out after morning fog, topped out at about 52 degrees but bright sunshine and very light winds made it very enjoyable to play. Only 5 of the 14 par 4s and 5s were cart path only; the course drains very well which adds to the enjoyment for myself at 78 years.
The greens are always good and everyone at the course including many of the members just make you feel good that you chose to come play here.
