Mountain Harbour Golf Club

Course seems to be coming along a little at a time. Greens are in good shape, fast and tricky to read. Fairways pretty good overall. Now for the pace of play. 5+ hours! The club overbooked the golf course and did not provide a course marshal to manage this! They rarely ever do! Then some lady??? comes along and starts yelling there are 5 groups backed up behind you, Hello, there are 5 to 10 groups jammed up in front of us too? We waited 2 groups deep on every tee and again for our second shots on every hole! Just poor management and leadership all around! The sign on the pro shop counter said 90* rule in effect, HOWEVER no one had updated the golf carts from Cart Path Only so every time we tried to enter the fairway it told us to turn around. ONCE again poor leadership, how simple a thing to do. Customer service matters. I did play with 3 very nice gentleman from the local area and enjoyed that very much.

Played with a nice gentleman and enjoyed that. It was cart path only, and IMHO it did not need to be. Hilly golf course with enough walking as it is! Greens were fast and hard to read as usual. Still some tee boxes that need immediate attention, especially 17. Overall pace of play was 4 hours. I like the layout for the most part, always enjoy the track. Staff is always great! There were quite a few maintenance team members out working and that was a welcome sight. I will be back in the future.

We played midday as a twosome in about 3:40, taking our time and enjoying the 72 degree mountain air. The course was in very good shape. Look forward to playing there often.

I love this course. Prettiest clubhouse around and the views are fantastic. You won’t be disappointed with the course either!

Beautiful course. Only problem we had was the five-some playing ahead of us slowing everyone down.

I see improvement! Green surrounds being repaired, greens look good etc. Golfed with a nice couple. Pace of play was 4.5 hours. There are a fair number of tees that need immediate attention. Overall a great little mountain course.

Quick true greens. Nice layout. Always a good time

one of my favorites. If I could revise the layout, I would restore the old green on hole 9 making it a more challenging par 5 instead of a long par 4. I would definitely switch the tee box with the cart path on hole 17, getting the tee boxes away from the treeline, tees are bare, overhanging branches should not define the hole.

We vacation in the area each year in the fall and it’s always on my list. First time in the spring. Worth the drive. Prepare yourself for some quirkiness. I normally play from the blues here, but this time I played with a guy from the whites. Much different from the whites. The conditions are good with very few unplayable areas. I’ll play here again in the fall.
