Good layout and views
Its still winter so fairways are dormant. Greens are good. I like the layout. Very, very tilted fairways. Balls roll off the fairways on good shots.
Fun day of play
Was very nice February golf course conditions were as should be in February the greens were in basically very good shape we enjoyed playing.
First time playing.
golf course was very challenging and greens were tricky. Good test of golf.
Picturesque and well maintained course. Staff very helpful . Good value for the price.
Nice warm up area and driving range
Nice staff very helpful......the course was ok
Has a lot of potential. Second cuts off fairways were very ruff making the ball hard to find....make sure you hit the fairway lol. Greens very slow

Staff not friendly
Staff was not friendly, so much so that I refused to play the course. Requested that they give my payed for tee time to a kid.
Great local course
The course is in great shape! Staff is friendly and maintenance of the course continues to improve. Greens can be difficult to read which makes it very challenging.
Mountain Lake Golf
On vacation and enjoyed the course very much. Nice greens. Good variety of holes. First group of day so pace was fast. Staff seemed to be focused on servicing regulars instead of guest. This did not prevent our group from having a good day. Will play again in the future.
An Adventure
Haven't played Chatuge Shores in a few years; best I have seen the course.
Outside of some clippings and a few bare spots on the course, the course was in great shape, including the greens.
One warning: if you have never played: be aware of blind shots and the elevation differences with "Mountain golf" and have a good time.
Chatuge
It seems like every time i go there. the golf is great but the staff is rude. Not sure why that is. but, it isnt necessary.
Got to be able to putt. Course in good shape green are fast with lots of turns!! Had a great time playing for the first time on this course.
Little out of the way but worth it.
Great course to play. Greens are soft. Course in good condition. Definitely play again.
Very good condition
Golf course is in very good overall condition. They wasn't able to mow the greens because of the over night rains, greens were justba touch slow with the dew. I think they would have been very nice if they could have mowed them. Still the best greens in the area right now.
Greens were perfect.
Played on a rainy day. Course was wet but drained surprisingly well. Greens were amazingly smooth. Staff very friendly, especially the cart guy. Overall very enjoyable experience.

I am sorry that your experience was unsatisfactory. I have spoken to the shop assistant that waited on you and reminded of his need to be courteous. However, what your review failed to mention was that you made a Golf Now tee time for 3:15 and arrived nearly 2 hours early. We receive no revenue from those HOT DEAL tee times and allow discounted play only during certain times for numerous reasons. Our policy is simple, “discounted times only play at the times posted” and when you book on Golf Now a disclaimer appears stating that if you arrive early you may be subject to an extra fee. The reason you didn’t play the course wasn’t so much because the staff was unfriendly but that you didn’t want to wait to play at the time you actually purchased. However, I still apologize for your negitive experience.
