Too much money for unplayable bunkers
This is a very fun course that is in overall great shape but I can not justify $64 for a course where every bunker is either brick or a mud pit. Greens and fairways are great at least aside from a few bad drainage spots.
Great day on the golf course
Had a great day at Cedar Rock Country Club. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Course was in very good shape, especially the greens. My only problem was finding my way out of the complex. Had to ask for directions two times.
Very nice course to play.
First time here - looks like storms have gone through here recently
Course looked to be in very good shape with a few exceptions. Storms must have been hitting this area. You could tell how high the water had got to with the debris above the creeks and the bunker had been washed really badly. Tee box - fairways and greens were excellent. No water on the course but to be fair we were told that before the round and they had free water in the pro shop. Pro shop very friendly and made sure we knew which direction to go. Bout 120 mile drive to this course but I would like to make it back sometime. We just decided to take a chance and go play somewhere different. Worth playing this course !
Fun course, great value
The course was in terrific condition and a great value for the price paid. The layout is interesting with almost every club in the bag needing to be used as some point. I'll be back.
Nice course, not so nice greens
Fun, challenging course, semi-mountainous course. Definitely not an easy course. Lots of elevation change on the front 9. Not as hilly on the back. Very green and lush. My only issue with the course was the greens. They were subpar. Other than that, it’s a nice course.
Great track
One of our favorites. It's not in perfect condition but for a semi private course that gets a lot of play it is 5 star for us. We happened to catch a great tee time and played at our own pace. Every hole is fun and unique. Highly recommend
Hidden Gem
My home course has closed for renovations for a couple months, I was searching for somewhere to play. I have found it. This is a very nice course hidden in the foothills on NC. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. I will be here until my course reopens and return after that. Thank you to the staff.
Great layout
Great layout , friendly staff, great value, greens excellent fairways in great shape. Excellent.
Value
Greens are in great shape, layout can be tricky or simple, course conditions are fair, cart GPS is great. Staff as super friendly.
Nice Course
The scores weren’t there but the course beauty was. Incredible value for the views and aspects of a majority of the holes. Got lucky and was able to play as a solo on a weekday afternoon. Staff super friendly and helpful, if only the helped provide more low scores. Easily the best golf course in Caldwell County!
Course review
Obviously grass is still dormant this time of year but the course was great. Good sand in the bunkers. Tee boxes in good shape. New carts with gps systems in them. Very friendly staff. I love that they have a driving range, chipping green, and large putting green. Layout of the course is fun and the views at the base of the mountain are beautiful. Definitely one of my favorite courses within an hour of me.

Enjoyed the layout. Greens were still aerated but manageable. Will play ag a in.
