We had 6 guys, playing best ball for three teams

booked two separate tee times and had one group in between, no big deal.

we let them go ahead and had two back to back.

we teed off late still because it was pretty packed. no big deal, we merged together on two so play through quicker. at the turn they asked us to split up into threes and that we could take another cart if we want.

that they couldn’t allow six people. no big deal. we did 4 and 2 and played through.

didn’t see the other two buddies again after the turn.

we are super chill and happy to accommodate, but i did feel like they were blaming us for the slow pace because we had six guys, even though it was already packed as you would think on a sunday with 65 and sunny….

and again, we planned accordingly with two tee times and playing best ball.

once we split they even rode around to make sure we did indeed split. little absurd to think about but okay.

#8 par 5, course maintenance it’s not a par 3 for the time being; be aware.

overall, still a nice course and had a good round. just some small hiccups.

i guess the takeaway is, don’t play with more then 4. they don’t like it.

The price was right for this course however I had to wait an hour before teeing off…they had the hot rate available I drove over an hour to play…would of been better to turn off hot rate they had a tournament they shotgunned and made ya wait over an hour from our tee time. Slightly disappointed but the course was beautiful!

Course was in excellent condition. Greens best I have played on anywhere in quite some time. Quick but held approach shots very well. Staff was amazing. Greens crew deserve a special shout out. I live in Charlotte but will definitely be back. If you want pure length you will not find it here, but if you want great greens with a great lay out and just a great day off golf then Lexington is definitely worth a visit.
