The Emerald Golf Club

Love this course. Have lived in the area for a few years and this place is my go to for a quick round with friends or a good range session. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable and the prices will not break the bank.

This round of golf was just such a pleasure. Everyone should try this great course.

I booked the course for 9:48am, but the course had me booked at 10:20am, with no explanation for me and my buddies. I guess their non-member players don’t mind standing around an unexpected extra 40 mins before playing. If they had a restaurant or bar, I suppose we might have indulged, but they do not.

Greens were amazing and course was in great shape.

I have never been on a course that needed a marshal like this one did. Foursome in front of me constantly blocked the front of the green with thier carts. Then after putting would walk back to carts clean clubs etc. then drive away after a 5 to 10 minute time period. I would never return, and I sure as %$#* would recomend it. no matter how nice the course, ifthe locals as #$%&&^^ I don't need to be there.

Overall, it’s a great course. The only issue I had in my most recent outing was they had just punched the greens other than that great course great pay friendly staff overall five stars.

Greens are ridiculously fast.. Never 3 putted so many times in 30 years of playing golf. Fairways are in good condition but on many of the holes if you're not dead center in the fairway you're hitting on a down slope, up slope or side hill lie.

Started as a group of 4, but 2 of us broke way because we played at a faster pace. No body was really in front of us and the other 2 behind could play at a relaxed pace. Course was pretty empty after 1300 and we took our time, slow day.

Aside from wet conditions, it as always was a good round. Cart path only this time around due to TS Debbie a few days before and feeder bands still rolling through, the course doesn’t really hold water on the fairways. Overall I always recommend playing this course to friends or anyone really.

I hadn’t played here in over 30 years and it was my son’s first time playing The Emerald. Only negative was they had recently aerated the greens. But they still held nicely and putting true. Other than that the course is in great shape. Everyone from Pro Shop to the starter to the grill were super nice. Good food at the grill and reasonably priced also! The course is well laid out and challenging. There are red, yellow, white, blue, and championship tee boxes so no matter your skill level the course is adaptable and well marked for yardage. It helps to have a range finder to know where to place shots both off the tee and some 2nd shots. We really enjoyed our round and it was a tremendous value for the price we paid.
