An overall great course, fun to play and challenging for all levels. Green are being tarped making the green nice for the winter, ALTHOUGH tarp storage positions could be adjusted to minimize interaction.

Will play again and if you haven't played you are missing a real gem.

First time I have played since the reopening but she is tough as ever and the staff has done a great job at getting it back in shape. Beautiful course and a real test of your golf game.

My son and I played there, and enjoyed the round very much. The yardage could be marked a little better, but the course overall was in very good condition for the end of November. The guy at the front desk and the lady at the snack bar could not have been more friendly and accommodating! They made us feel so welcome and talked extensively with my 12 year old son. I would definitely endorse and recommend this course to anyone! And we will absolutely be back!

Great course for the money. Helpful and friendly staff at the pro shop. Some great views of the surrounding areas. Will be playing this course again.

I played this course once on a whim an went back the next two days. Great course with better views; challenging; cheap beer and good food. Amazing staff!

we enjoyed playing this course, course was fair condition and had beautiful views.

The question, "Did you play 9 holes" is unclear. I played 18 holes which would mean yes since you need to play at least 9 holes to play 18. This is a great course.

Very good price for overall play. Course is in a lot better shape than years back. I'm defiantly coming back.

3rd time playing since the reopen. Vastly improved from the first time, still working into shape. I have yet to play when the greens were actually green! Overall the course is a nice, challenging course worth the drive of 30-45 minutes for me.
Clubhouse: Staff excellent. Food: bummed, only two fresh hot dogs at 2, had a group of 3 so I went without.
Tee box: 7/10 Well marked, well taken care of
Fair ways: 7/10 Well maintained with actual grass to hit off of in late October.
Greens: 7/10 Ball rolled great, greens are SLOW, but true. Again, still no color to them and it's too late in the season for it, maybe next spring!
Enjoyed the course and recommend it to anyone, especially if you can score a HOT DEAL.

Cleghorn Plantation is a beautiful course with many challenging holes, as well as breathtaking views, especially this time of year (Oct). Our second time playing. Course was in better condition on our first visit in the summer. Greens need to be rolled and cut down more for a "true" roll, they were choppy. Also, many many workers on the back nine when we played, very annoying. We saw, heard, waited for workers to get out of our way on 7 out of 9 holes. This should be done at dawn not when the course is at its peak time.

Great value and the staff and course were in great shape. They had aerated the greens a few weeks earlier but did not seem to effect the putting. This course is worth the drive from Asheville.

Beautiful course. Hilly, but has wide fairways. Great condition. Does have some hazards but is a fair course. Will definitely return to play again

The course is looking and playing really nice. The greens were rolling well and the fairways are cut tight and coming back from the long shutdown nicely. The staff is very friendly and great to talk with. Enjoyed it very much. I will be back!

Great course! Overall very good condition considering the time of year. Staff and facility were great! Hope to play again someday.

Course was in great shape. Played in less than 4 hours on a Monday at noon. Had a great time.

We played as a twosome on a Wed. pm. Staff was super friendly. Course was in pretty good shape on a wet front 9, very good shape on the back 9. The greens were very nice and rolled true. There were several challenging holes that put a premium on landing zones. Beautiful vistas on many holes. It was a fun round of golf. I would recommend this course to anyone who enjoys a challenge.

The course is well maintained and has many beautiful views. Although the course is hilly, the fairways are wide and forgiving. Overall a great value.

great day -- pace of play was very good. finished up in 4 hours. No two holes look the same --

staff was friendly...got the prepay rate for 17 a person. you cant beat the price. i dont think id pay the full price that they charge at the course cause its an hr away from me. $17 id play it every weekend. course was in great shape. rain held off for us. greens were a lil slow from what i was expecting.
