Nice course
We were traveling north and decided to stop in town for the night. We made a tee time and were able to get on for the hot deal the next day. We found a course to be very playable and enjoyable.
Average Course
For only 30 dollars I didn’t expect any less than what I got. Fairways were not bad but the greens were very inconsistent and had a few rough spots. The course layout made it a fun experience but the greens could use some work. I would play here again if I was in the area.
Decent course, good value, poor pace of play
In pretty good shape. What you’d expect from an affordable muni. But the pace of play is awful. They really need to manage that. Got behind two slow foursomes. One of them took 15 minutes to finish a par 3! Ended up driving around them and skipping 2 holes.
Tee Times Mean Nothing
First off the course is fun to play especially for a high handicap golfer. Open layout that is very forgiving while not getting boring with a bunch of straight par 4’s.
However, the professionalism of the course staff left a lot to be desired. The course allowed tee times to be booked online as early as 7:23. Someone in the 7:23 group even called to verify the tee time. No one was onsite to open the gate until 7:30. By 7:30 15+ cars were lined up all with early tee times. Upon paying for the round I was informed that 2 groups always play first even though they had later tee times than multiple groups ahead of us.
Below Average Course
This was my first time playing at Twin Oaks. My reservation was missed by the club house so they had to fit us in. We were stuck behind 2 4-sums so the pace of play was very slow. The greens had not been cut in at least two days so they were super slow. The ground was very hard in the fairways so it was hard to take any divots. Overall just not really the best course but it was the most inexpensive so you got what you paid for I guess. Anyways, I will not be going back unless I absolutely have to. Hope this helps!

NIce course for the money Good for beginners to average golfers
Fun short course!
This is a pretty fun short course. Not in the best shape but definitely good for the price. Cant beat a $25 hot deal. Very tight course with some tee boxes next to the previous greens. Greens rolled surprisingly quick, a few were a bit bumpy but not too bad. Played pretty slow, a few large groups (over 4 people) playing. Will play again!
Small tight course
Note: Golfnow had every available option open for 4, well Monday is seniors day. And they were all out playing. Instead of letting me start on 9(cutting the grass covered by mud...yes, you read that right) I ended playing 3 balls so I didn't hate myself. Poor course needs grass, glad I had 2 towels with me. It was great practice for my woods, using irons was very messy.
Solid course for beginners and affordable rounds
I've been to twin oaks multiple times and have always had a good experience. It's nothing special and there are definitely courses with better conditions, but it is priced reasonably and a good place to refine your on-course skills. It's very open and offers a variety of challenges.
