They always keep the course in great shape. Greens are a little slow but expected for bent grass in July to be a bit slow.

It has been a couple of months since I have played here and unfortunately the course is going downhill again. It was 85 degrees sunny and perfectly dry conditions. We go to the first fairway and our cars wouldn't ride out onto the fairway. We called the clubhouse and was told that someone had programmed the carts for cart on path even though that wasn't the case but he didn't know how to fix it. The 2nd hole fairway is completely brown and 15th fairway is pretty much completely dirt and lost. The greens were in pretty good shape even though they ran very slow. Some fairways had been mowed and some not so it was very in consistent. They had waited to mow many places for so long that the grass clippings were piled up all around the greens in the rough. I thought this course was turning things around late last year and early this year but it looks like it is reverting back to the old Greensboro National. If you plan to play here just make sure you get discount and don't pay full price because that is twice as much as it is worth to play.

This was a great course for the price. The staff is very friendly and the course itself is well maintained and is an enjoyable challenge. I will be playing this course many more times.

Loved the course. Beautiful greens and friendly staff. It was a hot day, but luckily the cart was stocked with beverages! Will be back here for sure!

This course is great for the casual player that doesn't want to feel punished by hole 10.

First time out here and definitely enjoyed the experience. Greens and fairways are filling in nicely. Layout is fun with a bunch of unique approach shots that require some creativity. Staff are top notch and the food is dynamite. What more do you need? Coming back soon!

Today was my first time playing this course & I was blown away by how nice it was. It is tucked away off of HWY 158 near the Guilford / Rockingham county line. The greens & fairways are beautiful & play nicely. I can't wait to play here again soon!

As always, the course is in excellent condition. This is by far the best maintained course I've played in this area, or anywhere, for that matter. Course is challenging for all HC but is reasonable for everyone. My personal favorite; all of my buddies drive to me when we play bc GBN is their favorite course as well. Definitely recommend this course to everyone!

We live in Virginia but make this a stop at least two times a year but not happy today. First off it has been $45 the last several times we have played it and its been worth that but its $55 now and not worth that at all. Fairways nothing like I remember them and slooooow greens. Not in the best of shape. I have played it when it is a $55 course but not now. Will wait to hear better reviews but not worth $55.

take away the 55 minute drive to one way and you have a course that I would play every week. Spring conditions were good. The course will fill in more as the ground warms up.

The fairways don't have much grass to hit off of too many fairway are nothing but dirt so if you're not looking to hit off of grass then this is the course for you

I usually don't write reviews, but I am for this course. The layout is very nice. However, the greens were aerated with large holes and filled with sand and this was not mentioned when booking bi would wait until May to play again. Also, the fairways were very dry and missing grass in many areas. Keep this in mind when booking.

Was not told of punched greens. Couldn't have been any worse if i was trying to put in a gravel driveway. Fairways dead & tee boxes where bare if the course was in that bad of shape why not admitt it ? I may have still played here just mot what i was expecting from this course! But staff was extremely outgoing & helpful so not a total waste

My disappointment was that I had already booked the course before I saw the notification about the greens. I felt that the price of the golfnow hot deal was still too high based on the condition of the greens. My buddy and I love the layout of the course and were treated great by the staff. The condition of the greens turned a 76 or 78 score into an 85.

Greens are great and the staff is very friendly. The fairways have a few rough spots but overall are in pretty good shape. The course is great for the price and the pace of play was good. Also the course has a nice driving range and putting green.

My wife and I played on this national-name course on our way home from Myrtle Beach. We skipped a group of slow players and move onto the back 9 holes. A staff came along, my wife mentioned that we missed two holes due to the slow players. Amazingly, as we approached #18, the staff followed up on us and led us back to the two holes and allowed us to play from there. We really appreciated the customer care at this course.

To play on the spur of the moment and price. Great. I have always wanted to play the course. Played alone. Very busy but good. Course was good for the time of year. But still needs work. Still pleased with the outcome. Thanks

I used to live in High Point and would play at Greensboro National with my friends all of the time. This course is conveniently located and doesn't cost an arm an a leg, which was great for me. I always found the staff to be very friendly and the course to be well maintained. I would certainly recommend and plan to play there again when I am back in the area.
