Gorgeous facility, carts, and property. Pacing and cost need work.
Overall awesome course. Turf was beautiful and really nice building and equipment. I wish it was a bit cheaper for a round but not terrible. Hole 1 was empty so the range master allowed me to tee off my 12:40 time 2 mins early at 12:38. Next crew was at 12:50 and they teed off 2 mins after me. Basically hit golf balls into the back of my head the whole day. Made my whole experience terrible. I couldn’t focus at all. I was waiting for 5 mins in the fairway for a group of 4 walkers to putt while the guys at the tee box hit balls out at me in the fairway. Next time will be better hopefully.
Did not play due to severe rain
The course was flooded since it was raining for two days
Even went to the course 30 mins away. However the pro shop was very kind to cancel my round without a penalty. However golfnow was not willing to accept the cancellation due to severe rain in the area. There was a voice recording that just said can’t cancel because it was within one hour of my tee time .golf now should refund my green fees or credit my account
Great golf course
Loved the layout, in general great course
Greens a bit slow (needed a cut)
Definitely plan to play here again!
Course was fully booked on the Friday afternoon we played.
Pace of play was impacted by 90 degree off cart path rule (due to lots of rain the week prior) and there was 1 group ahead of us that was slower.
The layout is fair and there are beautiful views and homes surrounding the course.
The greens rolled true and the fairways were immaculate. Traps were a bit rougher due to rainy prior week.
The bar/dining area has a great view of the course and we ended up staying for dinner and enjoyed the musician playing. The bar/food staff is great and attentive. The food came out quick and was very good. The prime rib special was excellent.
This was our first time playing this course and we would definitely come back
Medical Emergency
They were very amenable and helpful after a medical emergency took me off the course. I have played here before and they are a class ac.
Course in great shape
This was my 5th round playing here and the course has been remarkably consistent. The staff is friendly and accommodating, driving range and putting green are spacious and the course is challenging, but fair. My brother, who came down from VA and shot a 74, said he appreciated the quality of the fairways and consistency of the greens. I always have a terrific experience on and off the course at Greensboro National.
Wow
It's been years since i played NC golf. This course was well maintained and in incredible shape for just coming out of winter. Greens rolled well; Pro shop staff was friendly, and the starter was helpful getting me started on this course for the first time. I'm sure they'll get quicker over time. Since I travel for work here for the foreseeable future it will definitely be my go-to course. Thank you! See you again real soon !
wonderful course
Absolutely love this place… Course conditions were a little rough after a big rain the day before… a number of very scenic holes around a big lake… Greens rolled great… Used all the clubs in my bag!
