Golfer Reviews
Course is in fantastic shape. Played in a little over 3 hours, as a twosome. Staff is super friendly, especially Chris Humble. We play there every few weeks as part of our rotation. Tremendous golf course.
A Bit Disappointed..
2nd time playing here in the past year. The course was in good shape last time...not so much this time. Greens would be excellent if most of them didn't look like a meteor shower hit. Seems that no one repairs ball marks. Fairways were fine, rough was basically "barnyard grass" as my dad calls it. A few of the tee boxes were so chewed up you couldn't find any grass to place your tee. I think this course has potential...it needs someone to really invest in it. Not sure I'll be back until I read some reviews that it's been upgraded. Staff was great...although the grill was a bit slow. They could have at least hot dogs on standby and reduce the wait time.
Perfect Day out with Friends
I get it. You can go to Pinehurst and play nicer courses. You can. For $200 to $300. This course is in good shape and is under $50. Under $40 during the week. It has a great restaurant attached, the Sweet Tea Grill. If you're looking for a reasonable fun day out with friends for us average folks, this is it. The course is in good condition, there are some challenging hole layouts with risk reward, and you can wrap up your round with a great meal.
Great course better management
Love this course always have!! We’ve played it hundreds of times. The fairways and cart path need the most work but for the value it’s amazing
Really nice golf course that we play often. Staff there is so friendly towards everyone. Worth the drive for me to play in Troy from High Point.
Hidden Gem
Couldn’t have been happier. The new owners Chris and Chris were beyond welcoming offering me a free bag of balls to warm up. Every foursome I caught up with let didn’t wait to let me play through on the next hole, they waved me up before they putt. Friendliest people around. The track is a blast. The 18th alone is worth the price of admission. Will definitely return.
Always enjoy playing Denson's Creek. We went out early so no pace of play issues. Golf course is in really good shape. The staff friendliness rating is for the guy running the pro shop. Just super nice guy and very helpful. And the maintenance guys on the course were awesome to talk to as well, as we made our way around. It's an hour drive for me, but worth it to play here during the week, as it's a tremendous value.
Cheaper country course.
Greens were great at times and some greens had growing issues. Fun to play with my son and played fast.
Greens were great shape but very slow. Fairways and rough was very deep.
