Always enjoy playing Denson's Creek. We went out early so no pace of play issues. Golf course is in really good shape. The staff friendliness rating is for the guy running the pro shop. Just super nice guy and very helpful. And the maintenance guys on the course were awesome to talk to as well, as we made our way around. It's an hour drive for me, but worth it to play here during the week, as it's a tremendous value.
Cheaper country course.
Greens were great at times and some greens had growing issues. Fun to play with my son and played fast.
Greens were great shape but very slow. Fairways and rough was very deep.
Very nice course in Troy, which is about an hour for me to travel. Course is in excellent condition too. Pace of play left alot to be desired, but I think folks play it alot during the week, as the rate is $65 on the weekend, which is quite expensive.
Fantastic Course
The course was fantastic. Absolutely phenomenal shape. Beautiful all except the unfriendly Spanish foreign run bar / grill.
Country course in Troy
Loved the course. There a couple of holes that are really close together. It makes it a little confusing, mostly on the front 9. The back 9 is really good. Overall I would play again, just needed a little more maintenance on the fairways, mostly mowing.
Ready to go back
The staff and fellow golfers were very welcoming. They pointed me to the driving range and first hole. Fairways were freshly mowed and greens were perfect. I will be going back.
Fun course fairways needed to be cut, greens was clean and fast. 9th hole and 18th both are right beside driving range and chipping green so if your shot is off you will have to find it amongst alot of golf balls really didn't like that
Good Value
The greens and tee boxes are in excellent shape, however the fairways were very hard. Rainfall or hydration would help. Looking forward to another round the next time I am in the area.
Solid
Would recommend playing before 12 or after 3 because if they are busy I noticed that they ran out of carts. Good course, with a few challenging holes. Hole 9 is right next to the driving range so it is a very weird layout as well.
