17th green. The back nine greens have minimal grass, but the front greens, though inconsistent, are in decent shape. Photo submitted by mrkunis on 06/09/2025

Decent for Only Course in Area
Twin Valley is exactly what you should expect for ~$20 to ride 18. Greens were recently punched and l left a lot to be desired. Staff is awesome and very accommodating. The layout is fun and challenging. It’s a good value if you have to play here. I meet my buddy to play here as it’s halfway between us. Otherwise, we’d probably opt for something in Moore County. That said, we will play it again in hopes it continues to improve.
Staff & carts are great!
While the staff & carts are great, the course needs some grass, they need a lot of grass. Fairways were nearly bare, traps had a lot on stones, most greens were fair to good. Liked the unusual layout, bring old clubs because you’re going to hit some rocks and ding your clubs.
We have been playing this course for about three years. And this is the best condition it has ever been in. The people running it now go out of there way to let you know they appreciate you. We will go back whenever we can.
Don’t waste the money
I’m sure at some point this course was nice, but unfortunately that must have been a long long time ago. This was a one and done for me. Thank goodness it was a hot deal.
Hidden Gem
I'm sure the locals are very aware of it, but this is a nice course and extremely affordable. The front 9 was designed by Donald Ross, and the back 9 by Gary Player. They play like two different courses. Highly recommended!
Twin Valley
Ownership has done an amazing job revitalizing this tremendous layout!! It keeps getting better and better and the customer service is top notch!!
Really enjoy seeing the transformation!!!
This course is tough but fair
I played the course due to the low price for November golf. I was pleasantly surprised by the challenge. The conditions were not great, but acceptable for November. It's a tight, hilly course with multiple dog legs and challenging greens. I would recommend it and I will play again.
Best course for the money
Greens are rolling the best they ever have out here. Layout makes it the most fun course in the area and the price and pace makes for a relaxing round.
A gem
A gem challenged by lack of funds. You can only do what you can do with the money that you have. Still it appears this course is on its way to better and better things.
A fun course.
We were welcomed by a friendly staff who went over the course and offered some helpful tips for our game. We will definitely return to play again very soon.
Nice course layout!!
Only gave 3 stars because I did not know the back 9 was closed due to rain the night before.. Most holes were playable, should have closed the 2-3 holes that were not.. Overall, nice course for beginners like myself..
Good course for the money.
This course is a great local option for me. It’s only about 10 minutes away and if I book online usually costs less than $20 for 18 holes. The cart paths are pretty rough but the course layout is good and the greens are getting better every time I play. If you’re in the area and looking for a quick round you can’t beat Twin Valley.
