About
Yadkin Country Club is a par-72 championship golf course that is one of the area's best kept secrets. It offers all the facets of Southern golf without the crowds. The Yadkin Valley stretches east from the Blue Ridge Mountains across the rolling hills of the North Carolina Piedmont. Like many golf courses in the area, Yadkin is routed up and down rolling terrain and through mature trees. The layout is challenging with an interesting mix of holes, none of which run parallel to each other. The par 3s are long and there are a few reachable par 5s. The par 4s will make you think, requiring thoughtful drives and approaches. Strategically placed bunkers and mounding lurk throughout and water hazards come into play on a few holes. Yadkin Country Club is a tough but fair layout that emphasizes strategy over strength.

Great conditions, great staff
Continued improvements all over the course, greens are always great, very fast this time of year. Staff are all great and friendly, in the club house and on the course.
Greens were fantastic
Played this round as a single but I really enjoyed it. Course layout was awesome. Greens were in fantastic condition, fairways and teeboxes were just ok. I plan on playing here again
Sara is AWESOME
We love playing this course and especially love the friendliness of Sara in the club house!! She makes us always feel like we are visiting family on the Sundays we come in to play. The food there is also amazing!
Greens have also been impeccable making putts easier and more accurate.
We will return again and again!
Friendly
great people, food, and some of the best greens around. Today, pace of play was a bit slow due to a foursome doing some on course teaching. No fault of ycc. Sara in the pro shop is top notch. Always enjoy our time there.
Revamped
If you haven't played this course in a few years...give it a try..greens great shape..fairways best in years..tee boxes and bunkers still need attention..cart paths horrible. But a fun course to play..will test every part of ur game!!!
Good times
I spent most of my day in the woods, the course isn’t easy, but was in good shape. Greens rolled well. Cart paths need work, probably some of the worst I’ve rattled across. All in all, I would play again. Had a great time.
First time in a while,, course was in good shape, better than expected,, will be back soon
Great course
The course is in good condition the cart paths are terrible, challenging course make sure to bring extra balls a lot of woods to loose balls. Enjoyed the layout great hidden gem of a course.
Average course. Fantastic greens.
Played this course for the first time since new management and was pleasantly surprised. Greens are in excellent condition, fairways and tee-boxes need slight work but are good enough. The worst part is the cart path, totally needs to be re-done, but other than that the course itself is definitely worth the price. Great place for beginners!
Go somewhere else
The greens are the only thing even remotely in good shape .
New owner is making great improvements
Great course for the money, so much better with the new owner,, if you played here over 3 years ago and said you would never go back ( like me ) give it another chance,, course is in much better shape and the staff is amazing.
Nice Layout
The Course was fun to play. The tee boxes were in pretty rough shape but other than that it was pretty good. Some washed out areas on the course. That could use some TLC.
